One thing i'd like to add is that envelopes are also useful for when you feel like your note enters too early or too late. How I use this is by INCREASING the value in the p1 box if the note sounds like it's coming in a little too early, and decreasing the value if it feels too late.

@@mousedarkarts I think I'm gonna do the same way you did with cutting clips of Webber's voice. I was thinking of doing a just the two of us cover. I got the program UTAU setup it was a pain to setup because I don't know Japanese, But I think I'm able to do it!

@@KxrenI Yeah classic UTAU is pretty involved, especially for people just coming into it sadly. Some people use OpenUTAU which is newer/made by a different team, but I used classic because I think he sounds richer there and also think it's easier to edit voice files in classic. @@stopformers6680 I'm glad! ^^ I didn't talk about everything at play in UTAU's editor to keep it simple (like overlap, consonant, offset and cutoff) but envelopes are used in a lot of different audio editors! What adobe product are you using?

In reality, any DAW, even a basic one, has features that work with envelopes and velocities. Thanks to UTAU I also started to better understand the concept of these resources when using REAPER (and in return too).
