Make Time For Family - Alaska Hiking Destination
zhlédnutí 376Před 3 měsíci
In the hustle and bustle of getting ready for another crazy summer, we always make it a priority to make time for family. We all love to go hiking, and a favorite Alaska hiking destination for us is Bear point. Even though it is June, that means it is early spring for us out here, so plants are just starting to bud out, and things are in the beginning stages of turning green. ~ MUSIC Aakash Gan...
Expanding Our Garden & Building A Boardwalk | Alaska garden vlog

We are always busy this time of year with early summer projects, and one of Joe's is always working on our goofy little Alaska garden. Our parents had a huge garden when we were growing up in Montana, and Joe has carried on that tradition. We had plenty of footage over the past couple weeks to put out a video, but we were just too busy, so this video is a 2 week compilation of what we've been u...
Installing Our Summer Water Line - Natural Spring
zhlédnutí 597Před 3 měsíci
This is the time of year we start installing our Summer water line, fed by a natural spring. It is always a big deal for us, because it means no more hauling water off of the lake. We are fortunate to have the lake as a water source, but it is a lot more labor intensive. Setting up our summer water line, and brand new carpet!
zhlédnutí 808Před 4 měsíci
Every spring (MAY) it's exciting for us to be done using lake water for everything from drinking to laundry, and finally start setting up our summer water line. It's a situation we've talked about many times over the years, but in recap, it's a 2,000 ft pipeline that runs from a fresh mountain spring down to our back yard. We have water pressure coming through every faucet, and the holding tank...

Winter In Alaska - Getting Home To Our Off Grid Lodge
Thanks for the video going to do mine soon it’s falling apart.
I wore a hole through booth boots in the sole. I went through mine in 6 years gaiters in the winter as a UPS driver. Stood in rivers. Comfortable from the jump. The boot was flawless. Looking at the Tofanes with a Norwegian welted sole so they last forever. They are worth every penny. I literally wore through the leather. You have a few good years left on those soles!
Wow! Yes I do, and I will enjoy those years. 😊
Out here in high elevation West Virginia, 50 plus inches rain about 40 inches of snow annually. Used valspar exterior coffee brown, 1 layer. On old wood deck. Then 48 hours later I painted a second layer of valspar solid stain same color. Held up 5 years. We get negative temps in winter and 90 humid summers. Perhaps try my style one summer. 2 layers.
What’s the difference between the 1996 vioz vs the 996 vioz?
Not entirely sure, but I am seeing a few different color options and a toe guard on the 1996 vioz.
A question re the motor oil I Know 10/30 is usual but cold weather starting and running ? Do you think of something like a 0/30 oil??
We do 10/30 summer and 5/30 winter. Winter temps average around 10⁰F and get as cold as -30⁰F and I have never had an issue.
Thank you Sir!
You're welcome.
Thank you for this video , very helpful ,,, one thought re the build up of carbon...looking at your generator "box" it looks small and may be limiting the air space needed for the generator to "breath " properly.. The tight space m ay be contributing to the carbon build up in the engine?? ( just a thought )
Thanks for watching. That's a good thought, one that I have pondered as well.
I love that the mamma bird is in her bare feet 😊
True country girl 😊
I wouldn’t have tapped the metal since it’s not thick. On top of that your craftsman lawnmower was manufactured by “AYP” American Yard Products, not “MTD” Modern Tool & Die as stated on the box. Yes this bagger will fit craftsman mowers but craftsman mowers were manufactured by “MTD” around 2014ish up to current day.
3 years of mowing very bumpy terrain, and my setup is working absolutely flawless. Thanks for the extra info.
It’s so beautiful there. I can’t wait to come back and pick blueberries!
I had the same problem with my craftsman at3000 2015. I had to modify the rear bracket and ordered an other lower chute hopefully it will fit my deck🤞🏼
Hope it all goes together for ya. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful! Good job Bo!!
Thanks for vid .Just did mine dont have to pull muffler. Iv had my going on 15 years and run it 12 to 14 when we go off grid. I change oil every 3 tank full. 10/30 mobil one. Original battery. Knock on wood
Sounds like a good routine. 👍🏽 Thanks for watching.
How are the blueberries this year?
Pretty great this year!
I’m doing a job at 5000 foot elevation in the California, Sierra, Nevada and I am putting on two coats. Rule of thumb for quality work in the industry is always two coats. Does not matter what the bucket says it’s deep penetrating oil, that’s one heavy coat . Cheers
So good to see you guys on here it’s been a long time friends glad to see all is well😊
I really like that idea, it looks great! What kind of wood and protective coating did you use?
It is spruce, but you could use any rough cut 1x lumber. I used a product by Flood called CWF. It should be available at Home Depot.
@@BRAMANTEBROTHERS thank you very much!!!
I work in building and renovation and live walking these boots have seen hell for 4 years and they are still good to me
That's incredible! I have done that line of work, and you ain't liying, it is hard on boots.
I do so miss fireweed.
It is beautiful. It has come on nice this year. 👌🏼
You guys have the most beautiful scenery while mowing 😊
I agree. Makes it not feel like a job.
You have such a short growing season, thank you for sharing with us🌸🌸🌹
It is crazy short!
Looks cozy 😊
They are pretty cozy. 😊
Looks so inviting, thanks for showing us!👌
You are welcome 😊
Excellent video 💚⛰️🙂 with stunning views 🔥 'Awesome' is not much to describe the beauty and work you put into production of this videoclip. 👏🎥
Well, thank you 😊 We hope to continue and improve and give you all great content.
That was cool
Thanks 😊
Cool drone footage of the plane.
Thank you. Zac was getting real good with the drone....just before he sank it.
@@BRAMANTEBROTHERS oh no, I saw a video and someone covered their wet drone with rice for a couple days and it worked after that.
We would definitely try that, but we would have to dive for it. It is at the bottom of the lake at a depth of about 40-50 feet.
@@BRAMANTEBROTHERS thats a bummer
I’m caught up!!! Now to keep it that way! Beautiful as usual!
Good job! It will be easy through the summer, as the frequency of our posting goes down.
Family & Faith are the cornerstones to everything!
Agreed. Thanks for watching 😊
Keep the hoodie! Gotta love a good worn in piece of clothing! Great work as always.
Thanks 😊 Zac can fly a kite...I love that hoodie 😁
Yay!! Running water!
It makes a big difference.
The opening drone shots with Denali (& friends) was amazing with those clouds! Must have been a front the way it kinda looked. It’s always great when you get the spring running!!! The room looks awesome!
I’ve never been able to get the finger/thumb to work on phones on other gloves. It’s great to hear these do! PS, I’m also loving your jacket!
These gloves seem really well made. Thanks 😊 It's an Outdoor Reserch light weight jacket.
I always love seeing you guys in shorts, t-shirts, etc in the snow.
It starts to get kinda warm in April. 😓😆
Beautiful new sled! I do love those how you use your older stuff until you just don’t have choice! The kids are as adorable as usual! And, of course, the scenery is amazing!
Trying to be as resourceful as can be. And sometimes, we just don't have another choice but to stick with what we have.
I miss this!
It's hard not too. Even when we go on vacation, we miss it.
So beautiful out there. Thanks for sharing 😊
Sure thing! It is a special place.
Hope you are having a great season 😊.
Thank you! So far, so good.
How fun!!! All of it!
I’m so glad your to the stage that companies are coming to you! The vest looks awesome.
It is a nice feeling.
Beautiful furniture. Bummer about the broken snow mobiles.
Stuff breaks. Sometimes I can fix it, sometimes I can't.
Nice of Mountain Mariner to give you those. He’s the only other one I watch , I’ve been away from CZcams for a while. I need to get back into watching it again. I’d love to have snow & a big hill like that to take our grandkids on!
Edmond is alright 👍🏻 It's a pretty great sledding hill.
We haven’t camped since the year we moved into our log house. You’re making me want to go camping again! Some of those layers were gorgeous. The purple/yellow ones.
Everything looks awesome!
Thanks 😊 It feels so good to be getting it all done.
Could you use a saw for the ice? I bet you’re glad to be working on your cabin! It’s going to be awesome! It’s awesome that it’s so sunny & clear, those shots of Denali are absolutely stunning.
I have tried a hand saw, a chainsaw and an ice saw. All have their pros and cons. Thanks 😊
Beautiful work! I'm going to do the same, but I was told to leave a gap between the tyvek and your siding, be putting drain able strapping. Please let me know. Thank you!
Hmm.🤔 I did not do that, and I have not had any problems.
BRRRRR! As always, beautiful & awesome scenery & shots. I agree, wind is horrible.
They look great! Nice treads!
Bummer about the truck. I’ve only tried a sip of kombucha before, it wasn’t horrible. 😅 I know it’s supposed to be really good for you.
It was a bummer set back for sure. Our kombucha has gotten better with age, and we all love it.
I have never been to NO, so thanks for the tour & food reviews. It awesome you were all there together.
It’s awesome, for the most part, you have all the tools & knowledge you need to fix just about anything.
