I use non-toxic, water-based Speedball fabric ink like this one: amzn.to/3z1oD9S (affiliate link). It requires you to let it dry and heat-set it before washing the shirt, but it's better for the environment and easier cleanup outside.

Thanks for your thoughts! Are you looking for more of a step by step tutorial? Would a real-time recording (hours) be more enjoyable? I find most people have limited attention spans and do not have the patience for a real-time video, but I'd be more than happy to explore otherwise.

@@CassandraClarkArt Thanks so much for asking. I admire your artwork. Anything but time lapse or speed painting is what I like. Maybe some people don’t have patience for normal videos, but if so they’re probably not serious artists anyway. Watching a normal speed art video is a lot like like taking a class in person, so if they can’t handle that then I’d wonder why they bother at all. Also anyone truly interested in art would really enjoy seeing the process instead of thinking it’s “too slow”.
