I can't decide which team to join. I kind of want the past to win because a Splatoon game set in the past with old-timey versions of weapons similar to Pokemon Legends Arceus and the old poke-balls would be really cool, but having a futuristic setting and futureistic weapons would also be really cool. I really don't want present to win, though.

what decides my vote is how 'past' the past is, like is it past as in the very recent or past as in like several thousand years back while squids are evolving. Future is a safe vote, but ill def vote past if its likely its a while ago.

Hearing your take about how Team Past could backfire on us was very interesting. I personally think them winning would give us a prequel campaign, because we're still severely lacking in objective historical insight, but seeing all the Squidbeak aggression come to a head with the official Turf War II (especially with the new information about how NOT evil Octavio and his people are) is a very compelling scenario
