This ad had haunted me for over half a century. I still think its so cool that, after the intro, when she sings "When I get into my Levi's...", the next sound is the unmistakable, long gone, sound of the pool balls dropping after you'd put the coins in and pulled the slide-out leaver. Man, there was nothing like that sound... Just wish someone had posted the whole original ad. Lost in time I suppose. Like tears in rain.

The first I saw this movie I was only a child. My Mom worked for Nelson C White Co. And they had Disney movies. She showed it on the wall of a house in the back yard. Those were the Days.

Why is the dog named spit

I have not seen Bob Carolgees and Spit the dog, since the 80‘s, and was just having a conversation about Spit the dog, with my husband (as he is German), and was so happy to find this clip on CZcams. The funny thing is that we have a Hungarian Pumi, who looks very similar to Spit, and his mannerisms, are so like our dog, but without the spitting-) Thanks again for posting this 🙂
