Thanks for watching 😃
Give me some credentials who did you study with? No disrespect you can certainly play just curious at least in the intro you should give your credentials just a thought.
Thanks @howardunderwood1572. Ah yes, because a woman can't just be a good djembe player, there must surely be some men responsible! You can find out more about me on my website: www.drummergirl.com.au/drummergirl
There are excellent women djembe players and not all women drummers learn from men, but most of the grand masters and masters I have seen have been men you are a very skilled drummer, and very impressive credentials much continued success 👍🏾🪘🪘🪘peace.

Beautiful drums and You make them sound great!
Thanks so much 🙏
Nice
Thanks for watching!
Very important pattern indeed. For more speed and endurance, try to reverse the "slap slap": right left instead of left right. Next level form intermediate-advanced players: play the whole thing with alternate hands. Practice wit a metronome. Practice alternaiting hands patterns seemingly (no difference must be noticeable in the music when you swicht from a hand pattern to another).
Thanks for the info - I have played/been taught many ways on my journey but I now prefer this hand stroke order for the voicing.
Thanks❤
You're welcome 😊
Very nice! Thx!

Hi What size are the drums
Hi @paulclare6589 the dununba is about 17 inches, sangban 13" and kenkeni is about 10.
Genial tu explicación gracias
I wish you'd release more videos! Your lessons are phenomenal!!
There’s a few good teachers on here, but I think you have the edge.
Thanks @kevinmurtagh3434
Wow , such knowledge
I only believe taped Dembefolas. No just a joke, thank's a lot for the nice video. Cheers from Switzerland.
He he, thanks @lamaludwig1470
Hi Simone, can I ask you something, are you left-handed or right-handed? Congratulations for the beautiful videos, very interesting!
Hi Michele - I am right handed but I think I play/set-up opposite to a lot of teachers. My reason for this is it is easier to play double strokes on my dominant hand and they often land on the kenkeni e.g. Tiriba & Djole. If you want more (& better) videos, check out my other site drumwithSimone.com. You can get a free month if you sign up (no tricks - cancel anytime!). Many thanks for your comments!
