What if youd do a run where you keep going until you beat the entire game? Then go back and do permadeath. That way youd learn all the strats for the more challenging levels without having to replay the earlier levels every time.

Do you plan on doing more of these just for ALTTP or will you be doing other games as well? I know things like Fake Flippers is fairly easy to pull off, just don't take damage or you soft lock the game. Spooky Glitch and Ice Palace Bomb Jump are easier tricks to pull off, while things like Water Walking is a bit of a hassle but doable and Hovering takes a LOT of practice- the guy I watch who used to ALTTPR races( formerly HBI2K from Team Four Star) wanted Hovering to be banned in races because of how difficult it is to pull off and creates an unfair advantage over those who can't do it(or doesn't know it exists)

I've only ever done the Ice Palace bomb jump. Didn't realize how this one is just as doable.

How do I play Zelda 1 Randomizer? Seen a lot of this and it makes me wanna play it! I've played Zelda 1 since late 80s or early 90s and now lately also played some ROM hacks. But never ever played Randomizer so I'm so curious! Right now I got Zelda 1 on these formats: NES Classic Mini Zelda Collector's Collection (GameCube disc) 3DS (Virtual Console) Zelda 35th Anniversary Game & Watch NSO for Switch And I'm aware of how to emulate the game on a Mac but I love the original way. Wish I could have a NES with that cartridge! I miss it! When I was a kid we sold our NES with all games to buy SNES with some games. Felt like a great deal back then but now I regret it!! We had a great game catalog! Miss it! I always come back to Zelda 1! Probably my number 1 game all time!

The plane narrowly missing the tornado on the way out of town felt like the president evacuating DC in Independence Day with the fire on their tail while everyone else was left behind to die!

I'm about to embark on a journey, and thanks to you, I'll be able to jumpstart it. I'm gonna play every Zelda game, and then learn to speedrun it =]

From what I've heard, Ancient Stone tablets master sword is only unlockable once you reach a certain amount of hearts, similar to what botw would do years later

(Spoilers in Comment) Beautiful game and a ton of fun to play. Second play through... I'm at the very end after getting Dark Links Blood. Went South of Death Valley and found the Cave. The Pillars that you have to drop... don't match. What am i missing? I can't get into the room to get the mask. -- Also the last slime isn't showing up on Map. Help?

I'd imagine you weren't very happy when you lost your progress at the end. I would love to see you play this some more. I think you should 100% first before you speedrun it, but I'm fully here for any videos of this game. Plus, its caught traction and is now a bit of a hot topic.
