I've been riding bikes forever, but over the last 10 years have found that getting off the beaten path on gravel, trails, and rarely used roads are the best way to find amazing places and see the world. 2023 Tour Divide: Colter Bay to Rawlins, WY
Our third section of the ride on the ACA GDMBR. We rode from Colter Bay to Rawlins, WY, getting close to 10k for the first time on Union Pass and then passing through Pinedale and on into the Basin.

June 2024 Panhandle Ramble Grand Depart

First grand depart for an epic route in the Idaho Panhandle with 30 other folks. Also my first fully loaded bikepacking adventure. Perhaps not the smartest choice in that it was steep and my bike was heavy. But in the end I managed 265 miles and 18k of climbing in 3 days, which was pretty awesome. Fleecer Ridge!!! The infamous climb/descent that is just as steep as advertised. Walking down through the sagebrush is tricky enough let alone trying to ride it. Running from a new forest fire we climbed up out of the Swan Valley. The singletrack at the top was great to ride - but had some sketchy moments on the side of the cliff. Great job riding that many miles in 3 days. I think it might take me 4. Does this route have a name, say in RWGPS, that I might find and download? I live in Driggs, but might head up that way for some bikepacking. Nice video!
