I've got a question if you can answer it. I have an hpdi 250hp 2003 Yamaha. The head Rings pistons and everything has been rebuilt. I was wondering, if I have 50 - 1 already in my fuel tank for the break-in period, will it hurt doing 50 - 1 in the fuel and 50 - 1 through the oil injection or should I get rid of the 50 - 1 gas/oil in my tank and put just fresh gas in and run it at 25 to 1 with the oil injection? The reason I'm asking is because someone told me that the 50 - 1 in the fuel and the 50 - 1 in the oil injector won't do the same thing as 25 - 1 set up in the oil injector. So my question is is that true and/or does it make a difference?
Hello friend! I Have also an hpdi 250hp 2003 Yamaha. How many hours did it take you to rebuilt the head rings pistons and all that stuff? Mine has about 230 hours and now i learned about all these problems. Could you please inform me about yours?
