Joes has 2 locations in Paso Robles and one in Templeton. We’ve gone to all 3, as we live in Paso Robles. We also love Odyssey World Cafe. One of our fav places to go since moving here 5 years ago. There is also a Taste in our downtown area.

Stayed in Le Marais in May ‘24. Way less touristy than St. Germain and a reasonable walk to Notre Dame. Loved the neighborhood. Very Paris but I agree on night life lacking. That said, most tourists are beat by 8:00. Go to ‘Bouillon’ the restaurant by Place de la Republique. Great experience that will not break your budget. Line up is intimidating but if there’s only two of you, they will move you in quickly.

One of the worst reviews I've seen. Do you not think you could have told us what you were eating? In Etto, we just saw you stuffing your face with no idea of what was on the plate. Grinning at the camera and giving a thumbs up is NOT a review. Try and improve.

All looked well chosen, apart from the mistake with Temple Bar for Burdocks. Chimac is going to get a visit next time I'm in the area. The thing with the pizza to that pub is pretty cool, but far from the norm.

Good assessments and choices, but one observation regarding labelling Patachou as basic American breakfast fare. I think it's important to note the French name which denotes a more natural, European twist. Rosies, I think better represents standard American choices while Patachou brings a unique and well-studied slant to our palates. As a 6-time James Beard award running restaurant, I think most would agree there is a significant departure from the norm.

Thanks for the suggestions! We watched your video last month to get an idea since we had a trip planned to Carmel-By-The-Sea. We just went last week. On your recommendation, we tried Alto which we enjoyed. I got the chocolate croissant, my husband got the fruit strudel.Yummmmy! I am laughing as I re-watch in order to comment my thanks, as I realised we sat at the same table. We also tried La Bicyclette. I am going to venture to say- it was the best restaurant I have ever enjoyed. And it was the experience as much as the food. And I have been to Paris and most other major cities. Now. It may have been the ambiance or the fact that it was lovely to enjoy with my husband- but wow. So good. You are right, the gnocchi was incredible. I had the Jardin de Printemps. Whilst the fish was a tad overcooked- didn't matter- once you put it in the sauce it was outstanding. Every restaurant isn't going to cook things 100% perfectly all the time, so I am understanding of it. Plus, did I mention the sauce?? :D Something we thoroughly enjoyed that was not on your list was Carmel Bakery in Carmel By The Sea on Ocean near the mall. Oh my gosh. Now, I am normally keto-ish (except on vacation) and a small person- but I could have easily eaten like 4 of their pastries all by myself. And their coffee was just fantastic as well as the ambiance of the place. Delightful. You are sitting so close to others that it's nice to have a conversation with strangers, which we adore. Anyway- sorry for the book- thanks for your excellent insight and suggestions!

The trip is for my 17yrs old daughter’s graduation but I also have some elderly family members coming as well. I’m trying to fulfill her wishes with an itinerary as well as locating a safe convenient hotel for my family.

I'll tell you a tourist trap in Dublin, the Leprechaun Museum. We will forever tease our friend who wanted to go there. It looked like an 8th grade art project.😂

Greetings from Peru, they convinced me to go up to the dome, yes other videos and the truth is, the church is not very interesting (the main attraction of that church is the dome), even more so if one went through the Vatican. And its reflection is very good for a free traveler who always hopes to save as much as possible, but sometimes there are things worth spending that you don't see every day.

humidity, not sunlight, smell....those are properties that have not value on real estate market, they have some value only cause tourist paying crazy prices for rent it.... but guess what dumb tourist do, pay 300-500euro 1 night, when for the same amount you have dream properties......stupid world
