I wish the guy explained exactly what was attached to the back of the intake manifold. I am currently struggling to get it out. There seems to be some kind of tubing or wiring still attached to the back of it and I can't see it.
I just did this job and I couldn’t believe only 2 small bolts hold that inlet pipe on! Shit of a engine!

So it's easy to do? Just take of manifold and remove old gaskets, put glue stuff on where the new gaskets go and glue on the gaskets and reassemble? Don't need to do mine yet but ain't paying some goon 200 dollars for something that seems kinda easy
That’s not a leak from tx valve the blower fan is behind that and will cause it to push air out the fire wall as it’s doing , check seals and valves

Those head units are pieces of shit low powered garbage chuck the thing in the bin , I put in a pioneer 2 din deck and man does it give the sound system way better sound I have the Calais though which has a factory sub and amp

I think they’re 10mm I have the 2004 Holden Astra ts convertible and has the same engine
I use aviation gasket sealant on gaskets and rubber seals . It's brown sticky substance that never dries . All that rocking around of the inlet manifold to refit will unsettle the new gaskets . Much better to use guide bolts to align it straight onto its home position first time .

Using the more expensive o-ring equipped gaskets like he did negates the need for gasket goo, and they become reusable - ie next time they will not shred.

My LG twin door inverter fridge is having the same problem. The beeping is caused by the temperature setting randomly auto skipping up and down one bar by itself. What is the cause or reason? Removing the speaker only removes the beeping but it will not solve the problem on the temperature set auto jump, am I right? Thanks.

Change the tx valve and o rings if system is empty then check for leaks also change both compressor pipe o rings same time.

You gotta love that Commodore tappet rattle, NOT.
In stead of using the silicone bead around the inlets for the manifold just use the medal gasket with the rubber inserts, a lot easier quicker and a lot cleaner.

Tip...remove the hoses before you get to the manifold bolts...
A fairly common problem, I think. Is it being caused by heat affecting the gaskets particularly if the fluid level drops a bit below their level. Can the repair include a heat resistant silicon bed that reduces the likelihood of a future leak?
do not use any solvent like thinner to clean cover grooves it dissolves plastic will break when tightening hard.
How many ks on engine when you had to replace these parts?

I've got a similar problem. it won't turn on but it displays the time, however the time is stuck to the last time that it was displaying. but after hitting a speed bump is worked again. any idea's?
that's what I did it got jammed I had to have the whole unit replaced an I lost two extra large coloured injets in the process the tech try to get them out he couldn't either so I lost the injets I wasn't a happy chappy
