What a bullshit music
Musashi used the lighter weighted bokken (wooden sword) for a quicker strike. The typical Japanese steel swords had 30 layers of steel making it almost indestructible but also heavier. Thus, Miusashi's strike's would always be faster than his opponents, who used steel swords.
Technically Sasaki didn't lose a swordfight. He had the livin' crap clubbed out of his braincase by an oar.
