When we produce paper, we always have the so called „Schönseite“ (pretty side) which is the one exactly created to be perfect for watercolour and given it structure with 100% woolen felts. The more textured surface will be the paint side. But you can paint on the reverse side too.

Expression is available in one surface grade only: cold pressed. Harmony is made of 100 % alpha-cellulose and is available in cold pressed, hot pressed and rough. Both papers feature 300 gsm and are surface sized.

Cézanne is more natural white while Expression has a more white paper colour. Both papers are high-quality watercolour papers artists chose for their own preferences.
