ORACLE TEAM USA is the American team defending the America's Cup in San Francisco, 2013. The team is led by Larry Ellison, Russell Coutts & Jimmy Spithill.
Sailing at Sandys
When ORACLE TEAM USA donated a fleet of refurbished Optimist dinghies to Sandys Boat Club in Bermuda, it allowed the club to restart its junior sailing program. Bravo to our boatbuilders and bravo as well to Sandys Boat Club for getting young sailors out on the water.

Watching in 2021 as the current Americas Cup gets close to being won I clearly remember watching the 34th edition. For the Americans to be 8-1 down and not give up - simply one of the most astonishing displays of self-belief and focus the sporting world has ever seen. I have taken life lessons from this - NEVER. GIVE. UP. NEVER.
Race 8 in AC 36. NZ 4&1/2 minutes down in a 25 min race, won by 4 minutes... and eventually took the cup. Because they learnt from 2013 and never gave up. Never give up.

Spoiler: Oracle won. The winning boat (Oracle boat 2) is in a museum in Virginia. The magnificent AC72s had a very short lifespan. Oracle's next defense failed in 2017, using smaller but faster cats. They lacked the gravitas of the AC72s or BOR90.
