I visited the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC. I cried my eyes out. Since then, I've read many stories of survivors. I am astounded by their bravery. I also read about how the Danish people, NOT ONLY, saved over a thousand Jews, by sailing them to Sweden, but they kept all those Jewish homes, in good condition, did not steal a thing from them. When the war was over, those Jewish people returned to their homes and found them in the same condition, as when they left them. Denmark and Sweden were true heroes in the war to save the Jews. God bless them.

I once worked in a hospital in Sweden and we got s patient who had those numbers tattooed on his arm. Every time we wanted to help him to shower he screamed his lungs out and was so scared. His memory came back in these gas chambers. I felt so so sorry for him.

As for the amazingly courageous Mr Leon, his speaking here has laid to rest some nagging previous mistrust I had for Oskar Schindler. Heaven is in the details too, I thinķ- as well as the devil- picturing Oskar surreptitiously leaving cigarettes at Leon's father's work station for him... organising double ration for the young growing boy, the bolts of cloth and bottles of vodka, saving their lives in countless "small" ways. Actually coming into the workshop and connecting with the Ĵewish workers, talking to them, acknowledging their existence with humanity in his eyes and intentions. These "small" anecdotal remembrances proved to me that yes, Schindler did spend his time and money saving lives, it was a sacred reality. God bless Emilie Schindler as well.🙏🏻🌏🕊🌻🌹❤️‍🩹🕎🛐.
