Haha man that was a rough game for you dude. I traded early cause i thought u were gonna kill me. You knew where all of me was! And then i only went for that talic kill as a hail mary cause i knew if i got it, harlow didnt have a set even jf i was low. And i had a wild card so i knew i had the set on 3 :p. Sorry man!

Did not expect alliances allowed with these settings. You played the ruleset very well. Add a good spawn to that plus not losing the Infection Russian Roulette (Talik/Blue got infected, for anyone wondering) and there was no stopping you.
Yeah. Trunk being a great ally helped! I fed them Talic at the end for their help :) (Even though I called them Bart over and over again 🤣)

There is one thing I can be seemingly sure of watching your zombie tourney games. Always crazy zombie spawns 😂

I wanted to say that all my opponent's are great players, and very, VERY good zombies players. In review of the video, the game, and post game chat regarding their moves and the subsequent feeds, they were calculated kill attempts that could have been game winning moves if more favorable dice occurred. In the case of the first feed, it came down to a failed 97% roll. In the other feed, it was literally 4 troops off of the kill. Like I said, these are great players. Just a bit better luck and they likely win. Looking forward to the rest of this tournament! Should be fun :)
While you did get lucky with the feeds, it still showcases your skill with these settings. I think you know very well when to go for a kill and when it is too risky, something Ben and Carter failed in this game, even though both of them are successful tournament players. My bets for this tournament are definitely on you. At the beginning with that starting position I doubted even you could pull of a win but you proved me wrong.
A failed 97% roll by Carter, and sets on 3 + knowing when to go for it, got me the win 😅 6 months ago me would have never won that game 😅
@@theartof2ndplace237 Apparently, 97% was too risky, then. :P Sucks to be on the receiving end of such a roll. You cannot always avoid going for non 100% plays. Especially frustrating in a tournament game.

Just came back from Arco's perspective so I do not have to worry about spoilers anymore. Another strong performance with an excellent lobby. Good job bouncing back from that unfortunate first game. Would have loved to see how it turned out without Truth having the lucky set on three. But another masterful Prog Fog Zombie performance. Is there a tournament for those specific settings out there? You would be the undisputed champion of that. :P
We’re going to have a Professional Risk Takers zombies only tournament coming up, which I have designed settings for. Should be in about 2 months from now 😅

At first I was very sad that I got eliminated after 2 rounds for the first time in the FFA. Then I saw how many great players shared my misery, and it made me feel a little better. These two rounds were more or less a spawn simulator.
Until the settings get fixed, spawn will always be a major factor. Honestly happy I'm out and don't have to deal with even worse settings lol.

Should of broke black when u had the chance to could of easily survived
It's not that simple. If I break black, we go into a war of attrition, and both die. I needed others to pick up on what I was asking them to do. For example, if orange moves out of my bonus, I don't die because I get the bonus earlier and don't lose three troops on their 3. Also, if a player recognizes that black's lining up which I made as obvious as possible via my emoting, then black wouldn't be able to kill me. I was just dead on spawn. Sure, I may have delayed my death by a turn by breaking black, but someone else wins, and I still die. It's a lose lose situation.

Thanks for this ! Very useful info. Can you elaborate a bit more on how one can know the size of the other zombie stacks hidden from them on turn 1 ?
Deduction. Zombies always start with 5 stacks in a 5 player game. If you see 3 of them, and 2 are unseen, and you know that zombies always double -1 except if they are a 2 or a 1 (which they just double in those cases), then you can subtract the troops you saw deployed on the zombie stacks you can see, from the total zombies added that turn. From there, using the fact that zombies double -1 first turn, you take the difference and calculate what the other zombies stacks have to be. (With variance, of course!)

It didn’t help! xD The game said that zombies got 11 troops turn 1, and all I could see was a 2 and a 4. So I thought there wouldn’t be many zombies in any big stack. I tried to secure a position on the right side by putting 4 more troops to my 2 to make it a 6. Unfortunately a zombie 12 came and ate me up! So that was pretty much that. Had to carefully manouver after that so as not to show others how few positions I was and pretty close to everyone. But I look forward to more zombie games going forward and learning these important fog strats! Thanks for your help, much appreciated, and best of luck to you in R11 onwards!
