      You only have to pay maintenance fees if you actually buy the timeshare. Sounds like you just bought the promo they sell at Bass Pro or wherever they got you. You'll have to attend their presentation if you want the 3 night stay. That's where you can then say NO and will have paid the $300 for a 3 night stay plus 2-5hrs of your time. Best of luck!

    I went to a Wyndham timeshare presentation in Sevierville, TN with my parents back in 2014 and their first offer was $92K for the "elite" VIP package with $275 per month in maintenance fees and they detained us there for not 90 minutes but four hours. My parents said they would go through that presentation again just to say "no, no, and no" and get their free show tickets and I thought they were nuts. I told them next time we come to Pigeon Forge, they can go but count me out. I will be more than willing to pay the $120 for three show tickets than go through that again. That was ten years ago. Currently Wyndham is no longer in business in Sevierville and their former property was sold to another company (Wilderness at the Smokies) that isn't a timeshare. My sister's family uses that former Wyndham property each summer and says all the amenities are still there for a much cheaper price than what Wyndham would offer.

  • @cyberrasputen1718
    @cyberrasputen1718 Před 7 dny

    Getting out of a timeshare is IMPOSSIBLE. Timeshare exit companies are equally a SCAM. Don’t do it!! Most of these timeshares pass down to your dependents or relatives if you pass away. And they will have to hire an attorney to get out of it as well. This is absolutely 100% a trap. Pro Tips: The secret to taking advantage of the cheap resort stays without spending anything on a timeshare or membership is to show up in clothes that look worn, stains and homes are better, flip flops or crocs, no jewelry of any kind, including watches. Don’t pull out your iPhone. It’s better to take a little prepaid phone from Walmart or wherever. Tell them you work graveyard shift at a convenience store and your partner has a similar low-wage job. Together you make about $55 to $70 per year combined. You have a lot of debt and bills. Your ultimate response should always be “We can’t afford it” or “we don’t have the money!” Set a timer and make sure you leave as soon as that timer goes off. And don’t feel bad about it because these people are literally taking advantage of you by trying to hold you hostage over the 90 minutes to 2 hours you agreed to. If not, you’ll be trapped for 4 or 5 hours. 19:31 NEVER LEAVE WITH THESE PEOPLE! NEVER EVER! Take your own vehicle if they want to take you on a tour! When we signed up, we got a guarantee that we would not be made to get on a bus, van, or any means of transportation to take us elsewhere. If you go, you’re stuck! They aren’t going to give you 2 minutes alone so you can call an Uber either. So don’t let it happen! NEVER do anything that you didn’t already agree to when signing up. Most importantly, put your foot down. Don’t worry about looking nice. If you don’t buy, they are going to be angry for wasting their time. The longer you let them go on and on, the more upset they are going to be. So get out of it asap to save your own sanity and to avoid being verbally attacked and guilt tripped by them. Finally. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM A TIMESHARE OR A VACATION COMPANY! NEVER PAY A TIMESHARE EXIT COMPANY.

    I was about to do this same brilliant idea I had to my MYLR lol. So I had a new thought about wheel/tire areas that I have not fully looked at yet but what about spray foam in certain gaps and in the wheel liner areas as it seems to me that is where most of the noise originates from. Foam reduces the noise the best and I noticed my previous Lexus truck was exactly that, foam inserts in a lot of the paneling gaps and wheel and fender areas once I opened them up. Nothing we can do about more acoustic glass but my Lexus was extremely quiet. Figured they must know a little something with all that foam and noticeable extra carpeting and padding. Just thought I might throw that your way since you are now a pro at removing everything in the Tesla. Thanks you saved me a lot of time and money because I was about to do the same matting idea next month thinking it would be so great.

    You can delete the throttle body coolant line, I deleted mine and sent it straight thru instead of going thru the throttle body. The only purpose is to warm up the throttle so when it is really cold like freezing cold, the throttle body doesn't get stuck bc of the coldness, but if you live anywhere where it is always about 20 degrees all around weather, you should be fine. It also improves throttle response since hot ass coolant wont be going thru the throttle.

    I've got a similar build but with a 02 Tahoe L59 engine and so far done the longtubes, dual x pipe exhaust, catless, S&B Cold air intake, Efan swap, 40k tru cool, corvette servo, ported TB and i've had it street tuned on just 87 gas and according to HP Tuners I'm making about 365 crack which I'm assuming 310 ish to the rear wheels, but im not sure how accurate HP tuners can be since Dynos are expensive. Soon I will get it on the dyno to see if maybe we're identical! but for how heavy this Tahoe and how old mine is, it pulls really hard on the 30 rolls, just gets up and really goes, especially since mine is tuned to shift at about 5800 RPM.

I am very tempted to get HP Tuners myself so I can dive into that whole world. I see a lot of benefits but also a huge amount to learn. Not sure I'm ready for that. For now, I have a Circle D torque converter on the way with a 22-2400 stall. I'm told it'll still have a mostly stock feel for driving around town but will give me a nice performance boost off the line.

I suggest you read up, or nowadays just watch some horsepower, engine masters , Richard Holdener,or really any reputable engine builders videos for the info -On Granitelli- they've been around forever, have a great support system and great products. The Dorman (as much as I hate their lack of QC) has again been PROVEN to damn near match most ls3 stuff/ again; watch some Richard Holdener. The rest is 100% personal preference in my opinion . Headers of course have plenty of proven numbers with different cams, soringsets, fueling, abd every other combo under the sun. Mufflers- same but damn near equal with mild mods like you/ sound choice. E fans and Rad - your best bet is the forums, shops want to sell their products, their sponsors, etc. Good luck!

    If you had picked your mods with your money better you would have actually gained power instead of loosing it

      Can you be more specific? Are you saying spend the money on heads and a cam instead? Or what?

    • @philliplukas9447
      @philliplukas9447 Před 23 dny

      @willzbillzfam you spent about 6000$ (including all the money you wasted on the intake). You could have just got a cam long tube headers and tune and made 70hp more than what you did and spent alot less and if your gonna spend 600 dollars on a factory intake you could have gotten a tbss style intake for the same price and made more power the map sensor was a waste of money the cold air intake was a waste of money the ignition components were a waste of money and the ported throttle body all because of one thing your engine isn't making enough power to gain anything from these mods but if you put a hotter cam in it you might have actually gained power not just from the cam but from all your other mods as well because they work together your stock intake and throttle body weren't restricting air close to how much your factory cam is

    I have an 04 4.8 and I put the tsp chopacobra in it along with that I did long tubes will a full exhaust cold air intake and injectors and it made 310 to the tire. I did all the work myself and then had a shop tune it and I think I had right around 2500 into the setup. Stock converter and the truck drives amazing and moves pretty good

      I wondered if injectors would do anything for me. I'd be nervous about losing even more gas mileage. I get just under 15 mpg and am on the highway 90% of the time.

    Time to cam the motor , Truck Norris Cam and it comes with a kit , LS6 Valve Springs and 5/16 push rods . Great and friendly torque converter , no need for high stall converter , its an option . After camming the motor have it tune by your speed shop . There you have it , bro . Beautiful truck you have bro .

      Thanks! I've been looking into a Circle D torque converter with a slightly higher stall than stock. What's the idea with the LS6 valve springs and 5/16 push rods?

    Supercharged is awesome but you should be able cam and get what you are looking for. Improved low end and mid range power. Look up Richarad Holdener on youtubes he has tested possibly every possible options very good info.

      He's great. He did a video where he tested every cam in the same motor and seemed to conclude that cams only add power up top above 4 or 5k rpm. Might just need to throw one in to confirm real world results. Would make a great video.

      They're 295/45R20 Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's which are a little less than half an inch taller and an inch and a half wider as the stock 255/70R16's that came on these trucks.

      It's sad that scammers make money when people get suckered into a timeshare and other scammers make money when people try to get out. Should be illegal.

    I recommend you look into Richard Holdener. Hes proven with some camshafts you dont lose no low end torque, on the contrary you get better gains.

      Good point. The right cam probably won't hurt anything and will add power up top. Have you had a positive experience putting a cam in anything? Was it a big change in the driving experience?

      Unfortunately not. Big mistake. These came from the factory with 285 hp and 325 lbs of torque at the crank but who know how much is lost to the wheels.

    My dad’s daily driver is 2000 Silverado LM7 5.3 king cab . With 150k miles. Running 33inch tires. We added a BTR stage 1 truck cam Shorty headers Full 3 inch catback Cold air intake Alex @ New era performance tuned it, and our dyno #s are 254hp 275TQ on 91 octane. Everything else is still factory. We were a bit disappointed too. So where doing next a bigger intake manifold and throttle body and sending those to 454 Chuy for porting and maybe some performance heads if I can convince him. He really wants 300hp+. With a stage 1 or 2 cam you will gain more power with all those supporting mods.

    • @willzbillzfam
      @willzbillzfam Před měsícem

      What sold you on the BTR? I was considering a Truck Norris but didn’t think it’d be worth it based on dyno tests. Hard to say. I also thought about a Fast LSXR intake and/or a torque converter with a slightly higher stall… maybe around 2000 to keep it drivable but stay a little closer to the power band. Either way, I think I’ve learned that forced induction is the best bang for your buck.

    • @jessejames760
      @jessejames760 Před měsícem

      @@willzbillzfam Did some research on the cam and since my dad didn’t want to upgrade the converter and really wanted more low end over top end we liked the stage 1 from BTR, I’ve had good customer service from them on previous builds and on my personal truck. I wanted the truck Norris NSR cam personally for his truck too. But after talking to BTR they said it will take a really good tuner with patience to make it work with a stock converter. But how it drives now its like stock truck and didn’t even through a check engine light that’s how small the stage 1 is. Yeah your tuner can make it chop or whatever but if I would do it again I would do a stage 2 or a truck Norris. My tuner is good and I think it would be a good daily no problem. For under $500 you can get a cam kit with everything you need I’m sure you will be closer to the 300hp with your mods. And it’s stupid easy to swap it. We did the swap in under 4hrs. Between me and him. Will need another tune after and I think you will be happy, throw in some heads while you’re there too. Over spending thousands on a blower. We live in La Quinta CA, did the work in 115 degrees lol. Gotta Love that desert life!
