Collectomania we opened on the 27th March, 2013 at the Queensland Museum, Southbank. Bundaberg Rum Showcase was asked to contribute to the exhibit. There were in excess of 200 potential exhibitors but museum staff decided on only 65. Museum Staff were given a list and photographs of approximately 50 items and they chose only 16 items that would appeal to the public and collectors in general.

Beautiful Rum but I had to give up drinking altogether when OP Cans went to $8 .. big day in my life because I'd been drinking Bundy for over 30'years .. Have to draw the line somewhere.

This rum is not too bad but it is far from the best and for the price it’s not that great because the best rum comes from the Demerara sugar canes fields of Guyana but if you say so oi oi

recently got to raid my parents liquor cabinet and was told I could take 1 bottle of anything I wanted... I had a choice of johnny walker, absolute vodka, Jim beam, Appleton's rum, a few different wines but a big 1.25ltr bottle at the very back of the shelf took my attention as it looked kinda plain and was unopened. It was Bundaberg rum original. Took it home, had a swig, and spat it out. Almost impossible to drink by itself BUT mix it with coke and it tastes great! Better than other rum and coke combos

+N.Z. Boxing Fan Haha, yeah the original Bundy is pretty harsh on its own. In recent times though they've started making a variety of different rums which are much better. I'd recommend trying something like the Blenders Edition - from their MDC range. It's made with port and sherry barrels, and is much smoother than the original. Far nicer to drink, even just with some ice.
I can actually drink it on its own and handle it.
I handle it half a cup effortlesly Maybe, I am a liquor purist
