A 1000-watt air fryer is an excellent addition to your RV camping setup, offering a perfect blend of efficiency and convenience. For regular RV camping, this appliance allows you to enjoy a variety of meals with minimal hassle. Its compact size makes it easy to store in your RV, and its rapid cooking time means you can prepare meals quickly without generating excess heat-an important factor in a confined space.
One of the standout features of this air fryer is its low power consumption, making it ideal for boondocking or dry camping. Even though it's rated at 1000 watts, when you cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, it only draws about 750 watts of power. This lower energy requirement is a significant advantage when you're relying on a limited power source like a solar generator or a smaller inverter. The reduced power draw ensures that you can cook efficiently without draining your battery reserves too quickly, allowing for extended stays off the grid while still enjoying delicious, home-cooked meals. This balance of power and performance makes the 1000-watt air fryer a must-have for any RV enthusiast.

Tire RV Safety - Watch Out For This Issue
Thanks for the tip!! I have a Vtoman flash speed 1500 and shopping for solar panels. The solar generator /Anderson connector says 30-60 volts. I'm confused because all the solar companies advertise that their panels are 12 volt. But the short circuit voltage says 20 volts. If I run parallel does that mean I'm only running 20 volts which is 10 volts less than is recommended into the solar generator. I'm super confused by this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm not sure about Vtoman. You might have to contact the manufacturer of Vtoman and ask about options that are mounted to the roof of an rv. Suggest to them eco-worthy amzn.to/3AtQd0d . They should be able to give you options for that, since they don't sell a roof mount option. Then if you want a portable option, you can take the data off of the eco-worthy and translate it over to a portable option.

Can you tell me the thickness and brand of the sound deadening material that you used?could not find it on your site thank you
Here it is: amzn.to/4fMgUNC I also used this on my cabinet that I stored my power inverter in. I can barely hear the fan of the inverter now.
Good info. Thanks for sharing
Thanks. Yeah it cost me 3 coffee makers to figure this out.
@@familyrvliving LOL!
I’m putting 4 of the litime 280ah batteries. My RV is fully off grid, and run entirely by solar.
I'm loving my eco-worthy 280ah battery. I've had it now for 9 months and I've put it through some really good testing. I run an air conditioner off of it and I discovered that when it's 100 degrees outside, the battery and a/c barely keep up, but in those 100 degree days I have a generator to recharge the system.
😁 Got one (gas) in my rig, brother uses the usb rechargeable and ❤️ it.
"screw hole things" lol
Thanks. I'm going to try to use the words gooder and funner in some of my upcoming gooder videos. lol
Where did you get the stabilizers? Do they have them for C class RV?
here are the c jacks amzn.to/49E5w2T and here are the feet for them amzn.to/3IpXrTA If your vehicle doesn't have a cross brace to mount it on then you also need this. www.walmart.com/ip/Bal-RV-Products-42-in-C-Jack-Connecting-Channel-for-19-22-25-in-Models/5085654590?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=101373823
Is this a 1C battery?
This battery has a 200a bms so the max you can discharge at once is 2400-watts. The battery contains 3584wh of power so it would take about 1 and a half hours to completely discharge at 2400-watts. Now I'll give you my personal opinion of what this battery is good for. I think if you have one of these batteries, I would use a max of 1200-watt appliances, which means I would use only a 1200-watt pure sine inverter. But if you are chaining these batteries together then you could go much higher. I only use one of these batteries, but this battery can run everything I need it to, including my window air conditioner. I just chose appliances that stay within my wattage. I only buy appliances that are rated 1000-watt or lower. You would be surprised how many great appliances there are that only need 1000-watts. I have an entire section on my website that shows these low wattage appliances. A great example is that I have an 11 inch skillet. It is rated at 1000-watts, but it actually only uses 730-watts to cook at 350 degrees.
Or just check your tires now and then
I still check the psi before a trip. But this way I can just look in the rear view mirror to spot a trailer destroying problem before it happens.
Got a few of these and each one charged completely is different voltage.... havent used them yet, but gives me reason to worry about capacity. I thought these would be goo value... and they could be, but in general you get what you pay for and I think id be better off just biting a bullet and getting a good quality server rack battery. Been looking for a tear down of this battery and havent found one yet. Tempted to take myn appart and see whats actually inside.
I’m going to do a capacity test this month. But I did run them down to 50ahs already and they were pretty accurate. I ran my window ac off of it and it did a great job.
How do I put the insulation in the ac without blocking the air flow?
The sound deadening material is sticky on one side, so you just stick it to the edges. I have a full video on my channel showing the material and the installation.
Remember.. those are stabilizers.. not a jack. Dont use them to lift the RV, only enough pressure to keep it from rocking.
Yep. anymore and you'll have a chance of breaking stuff
My dad does this. His camper is a rolling master bedroom on the road I hope to get one like he has
That’s total hogwash, what about all the dirt and road grime while traveling down the road that’s worse than when it’s sitting parked.🤦♂️🤷🏻♂️
Camp trailers are the worst investments !.
It all depends on what you call a investment. If traveling around the USA and Canada seeing cool scenery and making memories with someone you love. That's worth more to a lot of people than $$$

Just use/reuse water bottles to fill your freezer which saves on energy; use less pay less while maintaining comfort
True, but the freezer block that I have fits in the freezer really great and doesn't waste much space.
gee,mine is 12v,120v and propane.waste of money
A lot of them are just propane/12v or 110. So you really need this for those models.
Uhhhhm... Yeah....
The AC is $300 but you forgot to add the cost of generator.
The generator is a power smart 1500 watt for $250. It’ll run your ac and still have enough power to recharge your batteries
I have a breakdown of all the costs on my website.
And can you tell me wy?
Parallel panels are all independent so when one goes down it doesn’t take them all down. But series are wired together. So when one goes down they all go down.
Thanks for the tip!!!
Mocking someone with an RV for having the ability to watch their TV without internet is next level bananas. Why would anyone assume that you’d have enough internet access while RV’ing to stream entertainment???

That is a really nice all in one solution. I'll definitely contact them to see if they want me to review it. It fits perfectly with my channel theme of low watts.
We installed an EG-4 12k btu 28.5 Seer-2 mini split on the rear of our 35ft motorhome. Its super high efficiency means it produces about 3 times the cooling power for every watt of power it consumes compared to a 9.5 ceer window unit and about twice as efficient as an inverter powered window unit like you have. Plus, it's the perfect size to cool a small to medium travel trailer like you have. I paid $1,500 for it last November, but this same exact unit is on sale now from Signature Solar for only $1,350. I'm 67 yrs old and installed it myself from the instructions, as its plug and play - no charging or flaring of tubing needed. I can run ours 24/7 as we have a large solar/battery system. It ramps up and down only using the power needed to cool rather than turning itself on and off like most A/Cs do. Ours typically uses between 450-600 watts during the day when the sun is shining and drops to around 200-350 watts at night. We are FTers who boondock most of the time. In fact, we boondocked for 10 month last year, so use it every day for either cooling or heat, saving us money on propane too.
Nice setup. yeah mine uses around 250 to 400 watts during the sunny days and around 100 to 200-watts during the night. I love it for its size as it will cook up to a 24ft RV. Any bigger than 24ft. and you really need to use a mini split.
@@familyrvliving if your unit only uses 250-400 watts then the ecoflow ac unit would absolutely cool your RV because 400 watts is equivalent to 4000btus and the ecoflow was 5100btu output.
you shouldn't judge the AC unit based on the Seer rating number. I think window units are more efficient than you are claiming. 300 percent cooling to watts ratio is normal for air conditioners, imo.
@@uhjyuff2095 true, the ecoflow is rated at 5100 btu of cooling power, but it creates a ton of loss because of the way the cooling power is transferred through those tubes, so the real world cooling power is much MUCH lower. You can see this loss because everyone that uses the ecoflow can only cool a van. Those units can't even cool a small 18ft. RV. But LG's 6000 btu inverter window air conditioner has an efficient design to exhaust the heat. This means that my 6000 btu LG inverter air conditioner can easily cool my 18ft. RV. The proof is that I can actually do this, where the proof is that ecoflow's unit can only cool a van. You can see a bunch of CZcams videos supporting this data.
@@uhjyuff2095 This is true because window units can exhaust the heat more efficiently.
I just wanted you to know, after watching your video, I purchased some “Siless Sound Deadening Thermal Shield” and installed it on my RV ac . Now my wife and I can actually have a conversation with each other. Works like a champ. Thank you again for sharing. My unit was exactly like yours.
I'm glad it worked for you. I don't understand why they don't just do this at the factory. It's such a cheap and easy fix.
It's cool that you can run your A/C on such a minimal, inexpensive system. Kudos! We built a very capable solar system on the cheap (relatively speaking) too. My wife and I are retired and live FT in an older motorhome, boondocking most of the time. In fact, we boondocked for 10 months last year. We're designed and built our off-grid electrical system ourselves, on a limited budget. It took us 5 years to gather the resources to finally complete the project. We're living this lifestyle off of a limited retirement income so had to take the low budget route, foregoing name brand components like Victron and Battleborn for more affordable options. We started by building a 620-watt liftable solar array on the side of our 1999 National Tropical MH. Our side array makes a nice bedroom window awning too, practically lifting itself with a couple gas struts, and it's easy to clean, standing safely on the ground. Next, we built a 12v, 560ah LiFePo-4 battery (basically 2 of yours) using 8, 280ah prismatic cells and a Heltec 330amp (1,200a surge) BMS with a 5a active balancer. These cells fit perfectly under the steps of our MH where our old pair of golf cart batteries used to reside. We insulated the battery compartment, cut a small hole in our step risers and installed a tiny computer CPU fan to keep this space at close to room temperature, so we don't have to worry about the BMS shutting down charging due to low temperature - or their life reduced from getting too hot. Our 12v system uses an 80A LFP converter/charger, a 1,000w Renogy inverter, a 50a Epever MPPT charge controller and a Lnex battery monitor. All this cost us under $3,500 and meets all our off-grid electrical needs except for our air conditioning and microwave. This first phase has already paid for itself several times as we boondock so much. By mounting the solar array on the side of our coach, we left the roof free to rack 8, 550w solar panels down the length of our 35ft Class A, 15" off the roof, above our AC, vents, etc. It shades our entire roof, allowing plenty of cooling air underneath, increasing solar output and reducing the heat load on the air conditioners. Our 4,400w fixed array can run both our A/Cs, household appliances and charge our batteries from solar at the same time, even in winter. We mounted a Sungold Power all-in-one 48V, 5,000W Inverter/100A charge controller/battery charger, breakers and another Lnex battery monitor on the wall in our bedroom, saving us space as well as money compared to a system built with individual components. This all-in-one unit has the same 99% charging and 95% inverter efficiency as the high end Victron unit, though it lacks some of the bells and whistles to come in at only $764. We chose this particular unit because it supports up to 500 volts of solar power which was needed to accommodate our 400voc solar array. Our 48v battery uses 16, 320ah prismatic cells and a 200amp Heltec BMS to keep it safe. Together with our 560ah 12v bank, we have a total of 23.5 kwh of batteries onboard (the equivalent of 18, 100ah lithium batteries) - kept charged by 5,020 watts of solar. The price of Lithium prismatic cells has dropped quite a bit over the last few years. Our first 7.1kwh battery cost us $1,569 or $221/kwh, however the 16.4kwh we bought last November only cost $1,726 or $105/kwh. Of course, you'll need to add a $100-$150 BMS to keep things safe. Not only does building your own batteries save money, but your battery will have a much smaller footprint and be lighter than a factory assembled battery too. We removed our old rooftop bedroom A/C and replaced it with an EG4 28.5 seer-2, 12k btu mini-split heat pump on the upper rear of our motorhome. It's super quiet and cools as well as our 14.5k btu soft start equipped Furrion we have up front, but only draws about 1/3rd the power. This second phase provides 24/7 off-grid air conditioning and heat from the heat pump reducing our propane usage too. Our total budget for both 12v and 48v systems was around $11,500, including the $1,500 high-efficiency heat pump. We have no need to hook-up to power pedestals anymore, as we run everything in our MH without it. We travel around the country a lot, visiting National Parks, and doing the tourist thing, mostly boondock out west. We spent last winter in Yuma, AZ, but we're visiting our son in NC now where boondocking places are pretty rare. We found an RV park that is letting us camp in a spacious site without hook-ups for only $100/mo., saving us $500/mo. off their FHU rates. That's only $3.33/day, which is well within our budget and a no brainer for the convenience this park offers.
Wow, that's a great setup! Finding a campsite for $100 per month on the East Coast is incredibly rare. I understand how tough it can be to find affordable camping options there. I recommend checking out the website/app "thedyrt.com" for good deals on camping spots. On a different note, I struggled to find a low-wattage cooking skillet. I finally found an 11-inch skillet that only uses up to 900 watts, and typically just 700 watts. It's almost as big as a standard skillet but much more energy-efficient. I'll leave the link below if you're interested. It's often out of stock, so keep an eye on it. Thanks for the awesome comments, and happy camping! Skillet Link - amzn.to/3VVR1TU
Thank you! Great idea
It works great. It actually cuts out the high to mid frequencies so the decibels don't go down much but the tones that annoy us go down drastically.
Nice tour of your system.
Thanks. My main goal was to design it so I wouldn't run over 1000 watt devices. This keeps me in check to make sure I don't over drain the battery. Some items are hard to keep below 1000 watts but I think I've found solutions to everything that I can plug into the system.
What is the recommended psi?
on trailer tires it's the recommended cold psi. It's stamped on the tire. My tire psi is 90psi so on mine I have 90 psi in the tires

Great video! I was out last weekend for my first trip of the season with my new 280 Eco Worthy. It was great! The weekend was generally overcast but my solar was enough to keep it charged (400 watts on roof and a 200 watt ground panel). My main power draw was using my Renogy 2000 watt inverter running a tv, computer (Mac Mini) and coffee maker as well as charging phones and tablets and my Mom's laptop.

Could you run AC around the clock on like Eco mode. Where it shuts off when temp is reached?
