British History Timelapse (jigsaw puzzle)
Omg! This is amazing 🎉 I loved it Can you show the progress in real time, please? Congratulations 🎉👏🏼👏🏼
I have over 300 puzzles in my possession. It started slow, but then people found out I like to do them so they pass theirs on to me. Plus thrift stores. Then I discovered puzzle swaps and the collection grew like crazy!!! Love your set up.
This is one of my dream puzzles! I have worked on it some at a convention and wish to get it myself and do it! So so so so happy for you!!
It will be a quite an undertaking to put this gigantic puzzle together ! You are braver than me.
Like all ,best one Disney ones, but that one with puzzle pieces is insane, hope you make a video of that one soon!🎉
I believe you wanted to comment on my Thailand video Haul, and are talking about the Jigsawmania puzzle. I did have some comments from other puzzlers too. My friend said I was crazy to buy it. I do plan to make it eventually, and maybe trz to compare with other impossible ones.
Those are very nice images but I would find some of them very challenging due to large areas of similar texture and colour not to mention the repeating patterns. It's not so bad for a 1000 piece puzzle but when you get to 5000 or 8000 pieces then the difficulty is at another level. You are very courageous my friend.
Yes you are absolutely right. I do think of it too. I actually did not have many big puzzles. Apart from some really big ones like the 24000 pieces of educa. Now I have acquired way too many. It has become somewhat of a collection..
You are a far braver man than I buying multi-thousand piece second hand puzzles. I'd be unable to enjoy putting the puzzles together due to worrying the whole time that there'd be pieces missing. Even if at the end they were all there, the doubt would have spoiled the experience. I assume because you've been happy to buy them then you one of the rare, but lucky, puzzlers that don't mind if a piece is missing from a puzzle you do? The bollywood puzzle is the one in this batch I'd most like to do myself, purely because my wife is Indian so it'd be nice to show her the completed puzzle.
I feel the same way about missing pieces. Even with brand new puzzles, I start worrying that a piece is missing whenever I can't find a piece I am looking for. Most of the time it turns up later but I had 3 brand new puzzles so far that were missing at least one piece and I am sure it's not me who lost them. That's why I enjoy redoing my puzzles. I know that all the pieces are there and all the damaged pieces have been repaired so I don't have to worry about that either.
Yes I know what you mean. Well the Process is what matters mostly, still this 8000 would be really a shame since the build is marvelous. The Bollywood, was stated it has one piece missing, but i got it for 1 euro. So i said I may try it.
@@fellowpuzzler that is an interesting approach. Never actually thought it that way. Still to grow, sometimes you have to get out of your comfort or take some risks..
@@PuzzleWacko Yes. In general, I agree with this principle but, for me, doing puzzles is a way to relax and take my mind off the daily worries so stressing out about missing pieces would be counter productive. Some people don't mind missing pieces. It is the journey that matters not the destination as they say. For me, doing a puzzle that ends up missing pieces feels like watching a suspense movie that cuts off before the conclusion or reading a detective novel that's missing the last few pages. Plus, if you know it is missing pieces, you're always wondering if the piece you can't find is one of them. I shouldn't worry about it but it's in my nature to see that anything I do is brought to full completion, including puzzles.
@@fellowpuzzler Everybody experiences it differently, and it is good this way, since everybody has a unique Character. I too for example don't like to pickup my puzzle because they make fall apart. If I took them apart either it would not be a problem, but I like to keep them complete. It is good that you have found what you like and what you don't. In the end it is something that YOU should enjoy. ;)
I love how you find so many Beautiful puzzles. I wish I could find puzzles like yours here in the United States.
I actually have thought about that. We do have many different brands in Europe, and I try to collect many different ones. The only ones missing from the collection are from Oceania, Africa and maybe latin america. The other continents are somewhat represented in the collection.
I saw that this puzzle is split in two halfs, what are the measurements of this puzzle? Both half and the finished puzzle
Yes 900 piece jigsaw puzzles from Ravensburger are divided in two separated in two halves. Both halves are the same sime size. The final dimensions are 192x138. And the dimensios of one half would be 96x138.
Hello
Hello!
Thank you ❤
I am on a puzzle shopping freeze until I do more of the puzzles I own. You can set a goal, like for every 10 puzzles you go, you get a few more maybe 5.
I totally, understand what you are saying. At the time I shot these videos, I could not puzzle, and now the waiting list, is way too big. I started now, puzzling again (FINALLY). I still buy but only ones that I find collective, or bargain or so.
another great haul!!!! That solid black one, nope, would make me totally crazy!!!!! I'm interested to see how you like the Enjoy puzzles, I've been hearing great things abt it.
They seem nice. I am sure they would Enjoy-able. The black one, and white (which I also have) would really be THE challenge.
nice haul! I've heard someone else say the same thing abt Schmitt, better than Ravensburger but not as popular. And yes I do buy puzzles even when I dont need them. This is why my collection is in the triple digits!!!!
Mine is almost at the four digits... Also, really quite big...
If you ever get around to doing the grafika solid black puzzle then I'd be interested to see and hear how you get on with it. Krypt have their unusual piece shape to make them easier, but this one looks like it will be very difficult indeed. Do you think the challenge of completing it will make up for the lack of pleasure assembling a beautiful image gives? I absolutely love the 2000 piece Grafika collage picture you've chosen! That is stunning. Have not seen that puzzle before. Collage puzzles are my go-to puzzles to do when I want to simply relax and enjoy the pleasant time spent doing them. Not a huge challenge, just a relaxation and wind down from the stresses of the day. This one is beautiful. Excellent choice. Have to agree with what you say about the box art though: there is far too much wasted space with the huge white border that is unnecessary and could easily have the puzzle image enlarged to fit the lid much better. Like you, I've not had an Enjoy puzzle so can't say what the brand is like. Will be interested to hear your thoughts and experience with it after you've completed those puzzles. All that dark area is going to be a good test for how well the brand makes their puzzle pieces. The Grafika puzzle "the way of the last empire" is beautiful to look at. What a lovely picture. Makes me wish I had the room to do puzzles that are larger than 1000 pieces. What are your thoughts on the puzzle piece count? Does more pieces always equal more enjoyment, or just a longer time to complete the puzzle so a better cost to hour ratio?
The black puzzle would be, really, a challenge. That's a fact. Hopefully, not too frustrating. I have done some difficult skies or foliage and so, was really tiring. Hopefully, that would not be the case here... Fingers crossed... I agree about the collages, Not necessarily the most beautiful image when completed, but fun to assemble. This one is also as whole beautiful. So it is a win-win... The large number of pieces is much more challenging. I would say the range between 1000 and 2000 which is the most common would be the best. That is for people that do puzzle. For inexperienced that may a little bit difficult. For the one that already puzzles, would I think these two and between would be the mark. And of course we have to take account the preferences of each puzzler. At first and foremost, it is a matter of personality. I have bought some big ones, because they were big, but as you say they may take too much time...
Another great puzzle haul. I have done several Krypt puzzles including the black one but I am not brave enough to attempt doing a 1000 pieces solid color grid cut puzzle. It will be quite a challenge.
Yes, this would be a real challenge... I have to see if it is manageable or not.
I ordered this puzzle and it will arrive soon. Can't wait to start it. I have done a few 5000-6000 pieces puzzles before, but this picture is among the top 10 most rewarding puzzle pictures worth finishing.
It is nice to find a map friend. Most of my friend are not much into maps. And online, the maps puzzles are not that popular
Beautiful ! Well done- a piece of art work for sure. Did you glue the puzzle or use tape? How did you hang it on the wall- thanks for posting this video!
Most of the time, I don't glue my puzzles. This one is taped. I taped on the back, and on the Wall I used double-sided tape. Two years after, it is still hanging.
@@PuzzleWacko oh wonderful! Thank you!
Your new intro is very well done. I am considering getting the Band of Thunder from that series. It would be the first one that I would consider gluing and framing as I think it would look really nice in my home office. On the other hand, it looks like it would be a difficult image to puzzle given the large areas of similar textures, especially the sky, mountain and tall grass.
Yes, I know the Image. I just somehow have more from the series than I have ever imagined. Band of thunder is a puzzle, that comes in the results now then. Who knows, maybe I will buy that one some day too.
What a beautiful puzzle!!! I'm always impressed when people do large puzzles. My 1500 pc puzzle is stressing me out!!! Cant wait to see you progress with this one.
Great video!!! You've got quite the stash!!!! And yes definitely hope to see more videos.
I’m planning to record a kind of a “haul” of my own, with the samples I get from the manufacturers. I’ll keep you posted
Nice to hear!
I’m going to buy it i have been looking at it for 2 years Educa is a great brand
Have some puzzle of them. They have some unique images, but haven't puzzled as much as would like to have. The one I did, were very nice, and somehow the knobs were kind of identifiable.
Tower Press puzzles are fantastic. I got my first one as a seven year old in 1975 but saw my father make his much older Tower Press puzzles growing up. The memories created have given me a great appreciation for them and my Tower Press collection continues to grow today. Well done sir, you have shared some great examples.
That's Nice to hear. I did read they were really big back in the Day. I am Happy to have found some in good condition.
nice haul..."Countryside Ride" is my artwork; glad you realized it wasn't Lori Shory's :)
I like to learn about the artists too. After all, you spent some time looking at their work… Sadly, not all the brands mention the artist's name.
Arrow Puzzles, a division of Milton Bradley, Ltd. made in the Republic of Ireland became part of the Milton Bradley empire in 1976. Arrow Puzzles ceased production in 1987. The image of the thatched cottage is very appealing.
I will include this Information when I review them. Some are really hard to find. I wanted to search for example info for the old Falcon puzzles, but someway did not find as much as I hoped for. Will try again in the Future.
F.X. Schmid was founded in 1860 based in Munich and produced playing cards, board games, and puzzles for children and adults. At some point, a branch of the company was established in the United States. In 1995, the company had about 250 employees and seemed to be doing well. Reportedly, the company ran into economic difficulties in 1996 and merged with and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Ravensburger. Today, the F.X. Schmid brand appears mainly in children's books and playing cards sold by Ravensburger. This is a shortened history leaving out some details. I have some F.X. Schmid puzzles and the quality of the jigsaw pieces is excellent. I enjoy watching your video of your puzzle haul.
That's really interesting and helpful, I still haven't researched them, but had in plan to do so. Thanks for watching!
So happy to see another video from you!!! Always enjoy your videos. Very interesting haul!! So many old puzzles! Very cool!! Hope to see some more from you soon.
I am working on it. I have shot some videos, need to edit them. And then to start with the ones ;)
Wow😳🧩❤️
I originally wanted that pink krypt but I ended up buying the golden one instead and now I'm pretty much done with krypts. :D
Hahaha. I know what you mean. They are something different. Still haven't done one. Will get to them eventually.
Wow, nice puzzles! You have a good eye! ❤
Thanks! I can't wait to get my hands on them.
Oh! how do you get your logo on the bottom right?
You mean the small puzzle piece? It is an option in configurations of CZcams to turn it on. I uploaded an image of my one, and it looks different from the default.
This is a good haul. I completed a Ravensburger puzzle not too long ago. My first 1. I can see why everyone likes them. You do have some great puzzles here. Hopefully I'll be as lucky as you to find some around here.
They are somewhat as a basis to compare. And it is no coincidence that they are so famous.
Glad to see that you are back doing videos again. You have some of the most interesting puzzle hauls and I was always looking forward to seeing more content from you. It would be nice to know how you are progressing with your puzzling. Summary videos of the puzzles you have done recently would also be of interest to me if you feel like it. FX Schmid was acquired by Ravensburger in1996 and they no longer make jigsaw puzzles. Some of their most collectable puzzles are the shaped dragon series, the Ice Dragon being the most rare. Cheers!
Meanwhile, I have some FX schmid puzzles. They are still waiting, as many others with them. Summary videos, where already as an idea to the channel, as I was puzzling, more. Hopefully they will too come back, as I make it to puzzle more. Thanks for watching! ;)
Sorry about the bad sound. This is a new to me. I am not sure what happened. I'm rechecking the Parameters to make it at least as good as it in all the other videos...
Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. I find themso informative and inspiring.
Thank you. I hope I can keep up to your standards :)
I love your videos and enjoy the hauls. Do you have the space to do really large puzzles? We are thinking of buying a banquet table so we can work the larger ones.
I actually don't have so much space. I believe I can make up to 3000 pieces at a time. If I ever move, I will have to search for a room that can accept a big table...
Good video but your camera is making an anoying rubling noise.PAY ATTENTION in the future, dont annoy your viewers, thats beeing lazy and disinterest, disrespect.
Rumble-ing noise,its the autofocus.Set it to manual
Hello, there. Sadly, I did notice the noise too late. As the video was already online... I am not sure where it came from, and it seems the filter noise-canceling, did not get it out of the way. This is a video I had shot some time ago, and tend to believe, that something in the new set-up, messed things up. The room probably or the lightning, still haven't figured it out, all the other parameters didn't change.
Fantastic video. Congratulations. Felipe from Madrid.
Thanks for the detailed review!! Could you please tell us what your image resolution was (in pixels)? Do you think that the mirror is simply two of their 1000 piece puzzles put together?
I did find the Image in a very big resolution. I am not exactly sure, but it was quite big... I don't know if they put the 1000 together. It may be the case. cannot tell without asking them...
I just finished a 1000 piece photomosaic Simpsons puzzle the other day, it's the one with Homer in front of the grill with an explosion coming out of the grill, hardest puzzle I've ever done, but a great challenge and great fun.
yeah mosaics are very difficult. I have made one from One piece. It was not the easiest one. Still very fun to discover all the pictures inside there.
@@PuzzleWacko I've been putting together another Simpsons photomosaic puzzle it's the Homer's head with a donut in a thought balloon, this one is way harder than the other one, cause of all the blue background let's just say progress is slow with this one.
Thank you, helped a lot deciding where to buy a personalized puzzle 😊
Hi, i'm currently making some research about a puzzle i want to make, did u buy a myravensburger puzzle too at the end? How was it?
I have begun a 2000 pieces 68x96 uts very difficult 😢
Yes it can be daunting in the beginning. Depends always on the image though...
What is Bluebirds quality like please
Hello, Emma. Sorry for the delayed Answer. I have been somewhat inactive. I have not done many bluebirds to tell you the truth. One I did I was very happy with it, and the other was quite good too. The only problem by the second was there were some misfits in solid colour areas. Apart from that, I would say I would buy them again when the image is speaking to me. Hope that helps you.
BEautiful puzzles!! I think my favorite is the music room. Great haul!
What a stunning collection of puzzles!!! I would love to try the Pintoo and Tenyo brands but the prices of these are so high in the UK. Thank you for showing us your collection from Thailand...😊
They are really expensive. I believe that is the reason that is why they are no so widely available in Europe. Still, I never regretted buying them.
Bluebird's "Romantic Reminiscence" is my favorite of these puzzles. Thank you for sharing this video.
:)
I really like the Bluebird - North America, 1500 pc, I just added this one to my wish list. Bluebird puzzles are hard to come here in the United States. Thank you for sharing! 🧩🧩🧩
Thanks for Watching!
I love the jigsaw Puzzle.🙂😀🙂
Love all of those anime puzzles! What a great haul!
