How did you get FAA authorization to fly near the hospital? Oh yeah...hobbyists just fly wherever they want to whenever they want to. From Lake Aberdeen to Damon Point is all Class E (surface) airspace. FAA authorization is *required* to even lift off.

It used to be soooooo amazing. Like the burning man of offroad. The sun would set, and it would get quite for an hour, then the KC lights would come on, and the bon fires...it was mad max in the woods. So fun!

Funny how that works eh? In WA, one car gets dumped so they say "the public is hurting the environment" and they close it off just so they can then _lease_ the land to logging companies. They come in, clear cut half of it, then leave everything in place for 2-5 to leak oil before coming back and take out the rest.

It’s all built on mudd flats, it rains most f the time,there are no jobs to speak of, ignorant crime high drug use, homelessness is off the hook, meth and herion is cheap, police on ever corner, very depressing place to live unless you work for the PUD good luck there.
