I saw David at Elizabeth Reed Music Hall in Macon GA way back then, and yes, I bought the CD, not because it was cheap, but because he is a dam good singer/songwriter.

David played during intermission at Liz Reed Music Hall in Macon, GA for a Drivin N Cryin concert, about '95. I bought the CD, played it all night, until the sun came up that morning.

Saw him in Seattle... His lyrics have hung in my head for decades. I still have two cds but they are wearing out.

It's very unusual to hear him play this piece. With one notable exception off "English Oceans," DBT members never sing another's composition and this is Hood's song. This is made doubly strange since this show was about 8 months *after* Isbell was kicked out/left the Truckers... Still, a good song and a wonderful rendition.
