Scalr is Terraform Automation and Collaboration software for Terraform and OpenTofu. Choose to deploy Terraform or OpenTofu code through the Terraform CLI, a GitOps workflow, or from the module registry. Scalr VSCode Extension for Terraform & OpenTofu
We recently released the beta version of the Scalr VSCode extension to reduce the amount of context switching that developers using Terraform or OpenTofy and Scalr have to do. Some of the key features of this new feature include:
- Listing all workspace and filtering by environment
- Viewing all Terraform runs within a workspace and the run results
- Running Terraform plan and apply from VSCode
- Streaming of Terraform logs directly back into VSCode for active Terraform runs

Audit logs allow you to get insights into all actions taken in Scalr, who performed the action, how it was done, and more. Local Execution Mode in Scalr - Store Terraform or OpenTofu State for Free!

Local execution mode allows you to execute Terraform or OpenTofu runs locally, but store the state remotely in Scalr. There is no charge for Scalr when using local execution mode. We have enabled a preview release of OpenTofu for anyone interested in testing it out. As seen above, type in "1.6.0-preview" as your version and when you execute a run you'll see that it is now using OpenTofu. This should be used for testing purposes only. An official release will be coming soon.
