Amazon Area Manger Day 1: What is orientation like?
A general overview of what specifically went on for the first day of orientation as an Amazon area manager level four in 2021. I put together a little video trying to fill in the gap’s for people who might be starting soon Amazon and Are wondering what to expect on the first day. These videos might be helpful for people who are like me and struggle with introversion and the thought of managing a large number of associates.

Another overview of the first day of virtual training for Amazon. Ascend Day 1 (AD1) is the virtual training in your first week as an Amazon area manager. If you’ve already started, and you’ve had a different experience feel free to share. Hopefully this will ease the mind of some people who are starting soon and are wondering what to expect.

Over a year since an update? You still work at Amazon? You seem like a cool, nice guy so hopefully it worked out, but if not oh well, sure you can do/are doing something better. I worked at an FC for a few years, not much positive to say about it. A return center is probably a different experience though. As a customer, I love Amazon. Not much love as an employee, going from my experience working there.

You’re basically me now, i start next monday with orientation. Just graduated college, no managing experience, you could say I’m shy as well but its getting better. Your video was very helpful!

Hey Jacob thanks for all the info. I wanted to ask you, how long did it take from the day you got the offer to your actual first day? The gave me my start day 9 months away which I think its crazy.
I started about 3 months after I got my offer, but I actually was able to pick the start date.
My orientation is next Monday so this was helpful!
