    That's a cool kick but easily defend-able. That guy just stood there, and it looks like he looks away during the kick. All he had to do was extend his right or side step. He looks intimidated.

    @pastropmal They decided to do away with the head punches rather than go for gloves but they left the unprotected kicks because they're far slower than a jab. If you're getting kicked in the head it's a good reminder that you need to up your game.

  • @psychedashell
    @psychedashell Před 13 lety

    @pastropmal The logic being that you can jab someone in the face rather easily, but if you wear a kick in the head you deserve it.

    Sometimes I would see a guy land a nice score and the other guy would turn around and start walking away because of the pain. At the same time the judge would whistle the end of the round. Why the hell did the other fighers keep smacking at their opponents? Respect Kyokushin!

    this is shinkyokushin, but i think tsukamoto decided to fight like tae kwon do against someone who is clearly tae kwon do, either way, its interesting to see in adaptation

    this is very much kyokushin karate. not what you might see as the norm for kyokushin karate. the japanese guy is TSUKAMOTO. he is now in IKO2 which is also known as SHINKYOKUSHIN. it is still kyokushin. the african dude.....well i dont really know why he is fighting like that. but tsukamoto's fighting style has always been alot of fancy kicks, looking for the knockout. he doesn't like getting in close. hope this helps. OSU!

    • @simonkubeka394
      @simonkubeka394 Před 7 lety

      The reason why his fighting like that is because Tsukamoto is heavier than him as you can clearly see. You fight toe to toe with someone twice your size, thats suicide.
