Agreed! I was originally a HLL player, this game made me never look back.

Yeah they found us with a greyhound a little bit before this clip. We only moved maybe 150m so they knew, not to mention he was telling us where we were in chat lol.

5800x3d w/64gb ddr4 and gigabyte 4070ti. So it's not crazy but it is all newer mid range? stuff. Overall I have seen massive FPS improvements since the latest update though. And MANY others have said the same thing. So I would imagine you should have similar results too. They have done lots of optimizing across the board, and even the reworked chapter 1 maps run fantastic with new textures and better lighting. If you don't already you can give DLSS a shot if you are able.

So I want to start by saying, I hear what you are saying. And specific servers do not allow this, although I disagree I follow the rule, but this server did not. If anyone has an issue with it they are free to voice their opinion, but I broke no rules. The amphibious landing should be a challenging phase for an attacker. I think there are ways to improve their odds while making the gameplay fun and still accurate. They also did not have to land at the northern part of the beach repeatedly. As you can see the tanks landing south were quickly out of range and safe. (Hopefully this comes off the right way)

@@Sween_beans I agree with you, the landing is unbalanced in some ways for the attackers, it seems rather logical from a historical point of view even if Utah was not the bloody Omaha, but I notice that the players do not like that , I don't understand ! I hope that Squad44 does not become a balanced game to the detriment of historical reality !

Agreed. I would say some of the imbalance is what makes it unique. Unlike HLL where everything is like for like essentially. From what they have done so far I think they are listening to the player base when it comes to changes. Here’s hoping for some bigger player counts!

@@Sween_beans Exactly, on HLL the maps are very detailed but the game lacks flavour, it's not as realistic as it claims to be, it's a game for the general public. For Squad44 to regain a large community, we need to give it some visibility. I'm sure that many HLL players don't know Squad44 and would be delighted to be able to play it !

Could not agree more. I started on HLL, now stuck here because it feels bland to go back.

After you guys demolished the jagdtiger we had to lock it in lol. The Sherman smoke screen was a cool play! I figured the deck was weak since we had only encountered one firefly.

Personally I enjoy them. I do think they will take some getting use to as your point of impact/point of aim seems to be a little different. In the larger tanks I was having issues judging range because of muscle memory. I wish I was in server 2 actually, I did not get to see much of the new stuff because people just went full steam like an actual match lol.

@@Sween_beans rip. After server two died down/moved to server 1, one of the MA guys gave us a tour and we had a impromptu q&a for a couple hours. It was only like 3 of us. Was very cool. As for the zoom, I assume it will encourage use of the range tables, instead of just eyeballing it like most vets do. At least until people get used to it again lol.

@@agreenarrow I noticed some of the info inside of the tiger I sight was overlapping. Hope that gets sorted too(im sure it will). I was also only able to play it for a few hours before irl had to take priority. Did you get any footage of server 2 or the small tour?
