The music performance conceived for the exhibition was created in collaboration with musicians from Berlin and New York.

Beautiful, sad, meaningful, powerful - riveting 🌼
Lovely, it's my first time seeing Pamela and her work, I love her ideas and her painting style.
But whote people are replicating the AFRIKAN cultural works stolen/looted (or destroyed) by Europeans/white people. Yinka couldn't have commissioned Benin, Yoruba - Afrikan and Diaspora Afrikan ceramic artists???!!!!!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👌🏼
Wonderful film. And as a jazz fan I can only agree. Art & music so linked over the years. May I wish you many happy years of creativity, to come.
Is the entrance free ?
This man inspires me so much. ✨
What a lovely portrait of a wonderful man and artist.
Wonderful - low key mood and real life, real art
WOW! What an extraordinary experience! I was literally transported by your art, the beautiful studio space, the jazz music, and your deep sense of spirituality--it was all VERY PALPABLE! I appreciate the opportunity to view an aspect of your world, your sense of connection to family, gratitude for life, art, and community. I love the way you have designed the space!

Raw beauty
😊❤
This is captivating! I am am more interested in the process, the unconscious wisdom that arises when creating and not knowing. which confirms what i have always thought when creating. I believe we do not have to know it all when we create, we create first and the meaning comes after, which also means we surprise our selves as creatives an equally we don't own the meaning of our work. I enjoyed this conversation so much.
WOW...... it's sooo wonderful to see you again Sam, and the unique privilege you granted us to watch you at work and enjoy your wonderful jazz collection...... I also still cherish that visit to your home for dinner and to experience your distinguished art collection as well as to meet your gracious wife; just in case you forgot, I'm Akyem-i Ramsay (Painter from BARBADOS- Caribbean), and along with my brother Ras Ishi Butcher we spent 3months at the Bag-Factory Artist Residency Studio in Jo'Burg 2005, where we first met you, Kay Hassan, Bongi, Pat(who looked after us), David Kalone and several other amazing visionaries...... it's an experience that has remained indelibly etched in my memory ever since; thank you all for embracing and welcoming us into your world, and do continue to walk good my brother, much appreciated! 😇 PS: that iconic image of your rendering of the "Death Of Steve Biko" still lives in my memory's "EYE"...! THANK YOU
I see a lot of myself in Mr. Nhlengetha. I love the this video.
Congratulations
🚀🚀🚀🚀🙏🏼♥
Sending blessings Sam, appreciate our times listening to jazz and discussing the art world in your studio. The Bag Factory has helped and provided space for generations of artists... we treasure both of you.
Always been a soft-spoken guy. A brilliant artist that believed in his gift. God bless your bro
This has really made my day. Very moody and meandering -- with the high-low mood of each moment following the through-line in the jazz. So beautiful, as ever, Sam Nhlengethwa.
Fotografiska . Stoccolma. 2023
I've seen the installation in Berlin last week - very powerful work! Enjoyed it profoundly.
AESTHETIC
Great praise and admiration for this artist and her subjects, the heroic women of Iran who only want to get out from under the country's ridiculous and vicious theocracy which, like all "holy" patriarchs, is terrified and full of hatred of women living freely. These so-called men cannot control themselves, so they make women cover up? This garbage belongs to the Dark Ages and that is where it is going.
Your art very interesting
Your art very interesting
The neon works are entirely derivative of Glenn Ligon.
I have the same doubts about this art that I have long had about Louise Nevelson.
cool stuff
I am inspired by the use of materials and found objects repurposed as sculpture. This is wonderfully composed and thoughtful use of colors and graphic dimension.

Nice paintings.
Wow.
We are just so lucky to have our social superiors showing us how to be better, how to improve our morals, beliefs and social etiquette. What would we do without them. Thank you guys 🙏
