yeah i mean theres definitely some really nice saturation that i would probably have to use concentrated watercolour or ink to replicate! i think its just hilarious and kind of annoying that i was using these as a replacement watercolour WHILE owning pretty nice watercolours lol

I feel like people that do not see ace or aro people as queer, do not really understand that queer means, that you go against societys standarts, which being ace and aro does. I am so frustrated that people do not understand these identitys. Also I love youre ace person design🥰
thank you! i totally agree, to me queer is an umbrella term for all diverse and unique gender and sexuality presentations, which obv includes aro and ace. i find most of these people fundamentally dont understand how the world is shaped around allo experiences, just because aro and ace people dont face homophobia doesnt mean the struggles they face are invalid or incomparable to gay struggles

yeahh i just need to get more practice in, i tried so hard to specifically choose mens fashion inspiration for this but i have such a hard time translating it to a drawing. i think i just get really in my head about not being good at it, which of course makes it turn out bad regardless

Ye, the bleed through thing keeps markers from being my favorite art supply. I can see the appeal for people who are marker fans, but I don't like not being able to draw on both sides of the page (in sketchbooks anyway).
oh absoloutely! as much as i love the way the colours look and the interesting brush strokes and layering i can get with markers, they end up being such a hassle to deal with!
Love the little ruler! Most rulers are obnoxiously huge, especially for the artist on the go.

Thank you! I mean yeah I've personally loved auarts, a lot of the online reviews ive read seem to be from people who have had personal gripes with the school but honestly i think in general the people I've been in classes feel pretty positively about it! Best of luck on getting in, you got this!

@@CRASSINOV4 the dorms arent the best ever but theyre also not the worst. Im choosing to stay in them next year as well. Theyre pretty clean, theres always a custodian in the building cleaning the lobbies and halls. The dorms are pretty small, and they havent been renovated for a while, but I think thats how any dorm would be really. But its basically the closest you can live to campus (10 min walk), and youre also close to a train station, close to grocery stores, one stop away from one of the nicer shopping districts of calgary, and 2 stops away from downtown. Not to mention the cost of living literally everywhere in calgary is a really big issue right now, the dorms end up actually beinf very affordable. Especially if you can get a roomate you get along with or already know, the dorms really arent too bad

Hey this is sooo cool, I just finished my first year of art school too and then you pop up in my feed! LOL what wonderful timing also my focus is printmaking and i was laughing a little bit (sorry lol) because like a most of the things you were complaining are things that I actually like about the method hahhaaha but respect tho: I am not really strong in painting.
