Some of these guys need to lose a few pounds. The young guy is the best dancer.

Love to see you folk enjoying yourselves dancing which I had occassion to do many years ago at Kingston on thames in Surrey England , I finished my dancing 25 yrs ago,which I really loved and miss ,but I can always put on utube and from my armchair watch sides like you GFM . My old side which we found out from the town museum had a side in 1400s circa ,and danced in wooden clogs and fustion skins and other clothing of the time . RGDS john

Lovely to see you all enjoying the spirit of the dance ,and also nice to see how fast the morris is spreading in certain parts of oz .I was an ardent morris dancer many years ago at Kingston on thames which had a side in circa 1480 odd ,when they dressed themselves in fustian skins and used clogs . I really enjoyed the dance and ofcourse the lovely old english tunes .But im afraid cant dance anymore too old at 84 ,but still remember some of the steps ,but I can relax in my armchair and watch youtube its grand . Great to find another use of this folk song! I'm so thankful that Percy Grainger was able to arrange this into other musical settings, but I enjoy seeing the tradition of English Morris Dancing. Tally ho!

Turn Again Martha is a dance devised by Sue Harris, who also wrote the music. It was made for Martha Rhoden's Tuppenny Dish some time in the 1980s. MRTD still dance it today.

The Morris tune 'Princess Royal' is categorically not Irish. O'Carolan did write a tune of the same name but he never wrote it down. In fact , no-one can actually prove that he wrote many of the tunes which are accredited to him. Love and peace.
