NPH is just the ultimate performer as is Jason. TV/movies I can understand the work. But doing a Broadway play/musical? Up to 8 performances a WEEK! Matinees on two days such as Tues and Sat THEN add on the evening performance. One matinee on Sunday afternoon also, then off Sunday evening and all day Monday. Week after week! Each performance somewhat different as each performer figures out new ways of challenging herself/himself....making that character a three dimensional person you know inside out. BTW--off topic somewhat. Hamilton is making its way across America. Go watch a miracle of Lin_Manuel Miranda doing book, lyrics, and music. Oh BUT THEN we have his buddy Alex Lacamoire(@LacketyLac) who is Hamilton’s orchestrator, arranger, musical director, conductor and keyboard player. Lac ALSO produced the show’s Billboard chart-topping and Grammy-winning cast album. Go see it! Buy the cast album and put it on your MP3 player (I use my phone), buy the #HamBook and follow the scenes while singing the lyrics yourself. It’s rap, hip hop, jazz, R&B, Broadway musical--and you’ll find yourself singing “What’d I Miss,” “My Shot,”The Story of Tonight, The Room where it happened, You’ll be Back, Wait for It, Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down).
