Please I would want to ask you how many times were you served (food) on your flight from Houston to Dubai? I would want to know because I will be flying Emirates from Chicago to Dubai in August
This was years ago but there was soo much food! It’s a long flight so maybe that’s why, but it was dinner and then breakfast and a snack pizza, and lots of snacks in between and they also leave a basket of snacks in the galley area as well

Hi, can I ask u one question? The hotel have bus drive back to airport ??? Or we have to take taxi back to airport?

I’ve been flying with Emirates Airlines for so long and always had 10 plus hours transit but never got free accommodations.
They told me that to get that I need to have paid a minimum of 1500 dollars for my ticket and if my ticket is less , i wont qualify
You need to ask voucher at counter, if you consider your flight long layover.
I saw in their website that if you have a flight with shorter connection you we'll not be qualify for Dubai Connect I got two options flight with 8 hours connection or 15 hours connection if I choose the 15 hours would I still be qualified to Dubai Connect? Is what they mean that if you have shorter time then 8 hours (minimum time to be qualified to Dubai Connect according to their website) you won't be qualified Thanks!

Did you take shuttle to terminal d? Confused by the construction work.
Nope, at the time I recorded this (last summer), I was dropped off right at terminal D departures. It’s just that there’s basically two parts of the terminal (one which is right next to security that is old and un-renovated and the other which is a really really long walk from security which is the pretty renovated part of terminal D gates 92 and up I think)

When you go to manage your booking, if your flights qualify for Dubai connect you will see an option to book Dubai connect (hotel) up until 24 hours before your flight

Do you know the name of the Hotel where Business Class passengers are sent for layover ?
The hotel options listed by Emirates are Copthorne Hotel Dubai, the Le Méridien Airport Hotel Dubai, the Arabian Park Hotel Dubai. I stayed at copthorne as an economy class passenger so I imagine business and first class passengers may get the other two options

Your layover should be the lowest layover in the route and should be more than 10hrs to get the Dubai connect facility

I was able to get it with a basic economy ticket :)

@@shreyasheen1116 Yesterday i got my transit visa for 48h free from vfs global. All you need to do go to your emirates manage booking option then there will be option for UAE visa, that link will take you directly to the vfs application website. Then you'll be able to apply through the website.
