AF ; as fuck?
Slow AF.
Sadly, Kevin injured himself at work and passed away a couple months ago, due to operating room complcations. You never know what can happen, even with minor injuries. R.I.P. Kevin
Good work. Nobody hurt and nothing broken.
Cheers or the uploads mate. Ive got half an idea to build a truck something similar but smaller. Very helpful to have a view out over the chassis and to watch you work. :)
awe man, can you re upload without music and/or sound? CZcams blocked the video,I guess it picked up whatever audio
Perfectoo
Where is the operator
Man, just left Edmonton to become to Ontario AZ trucker. This is making me cringe from how much I want to go back now with all this Hydro/vac fuel/oil tanker bullshit. That certain breed eh. More power brother keep on keeping on!
How much does the tank weigh
I don't know, it wasn't really heavy, just big and real close to some security cam on the building.
Awesome!
Sweet video!!! Keep them comming!!
No that truck was an International, 2000 somethingish.
you drivin a c500?
You've should check out Ontario's Nickel mines.
The second 400 barrel tank is hooked with a 21' long 1/2" diameter chain. Hooked over the top of the front tank and under the ears on the second tank, the same way you would use a sling on a load. I prefer 2 8' long chains, it's just less weight to carry and gives you about an extra foot of clearance room, minimizing the chances of hitting and/or bending the top rail on the tanks. But the industry standard is a 21' chain.
I love your videos! I watch them all so please keep it up!!!! But I got a quick question since I just got into a winch truck..... How do you hook the second barrel up? Great vids and keep the shiny side up!
Why you have to throw the coal mines under the bus chicken shit.
I'm not too sure to be honest, they say 400" but it seems a bit smaller to me.
awesome what size bed truck is she?
ive seen more cows at my local bar
They do what they do because you place your orders for petroleum EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK........pompous.
I agree like a boss lol
The epic gong show that is mud and clay! I need to join your crew!
chris th e picker has a beautiful truck. respect the rough necks
wrong truck for the job.
Cool footage!
Oui ces't cool
GENIAL!!! :D
If I did that, assuming that I had enough line. And enough power with my 40,000lb winch to plow through tons of mud, and that's if it doesn't fall over,,, cause what do you think this 13,000lb tank is going to do? Float? So anyways yeah I could've anchored onto the Cat, pull it as far as my line would of lasted, which is about 30 ft max before I'd be eating it through the rear window. Anyways, you just enjoy the videos for what they are. Just a real life view of what it is we do.
Its always rig mat season for us, we use them always under the tank farms.
Would not wanna be the picker operator to pick up those mats. lookin at over 10000 pounds a mat if there 40 footers. i hate rig mat season
like a fuckin boss
More digging in the oil sands, less drilling. :-)
My truck rules, there is not much I can't do with this truck. It still looks pretty good after 5500 hours and the daily abuse it goes through.
I don't know why all the fuss about pollution, there is going to be a nice field of genetically modified shit growing on there next year. Just so you can eat your Corn Flakes or better your Coco Puffs... And enough already with the tire chains, I'm in 2 feet of swamp, what the hell are chains going to do?
@woodrat2296 Welcome to Alberta, Canada's worst polluters!
this happens all to often....you hankering for a steak?
blam in on the night shift well testers always
did i hear you werent suppose to tell him to go in there. Ouch! you boys are bad. should of used a fuking set of tire chains you proly dont know what that is
woah whats that sweet shiny red ride i wonder?
Yep, sometimes the tanks seem to have a mind of their own. If they don't get laid down by the bed truck just right, or if the ground has a cross-slope, it can get tricky.
This should be titled: Why Oil Drilling Sucks and Fucks the environment.
As dangerous as the tank is worth, I guess. I know this guy that dropped one on a trailer and wrecked the tank.
embrace the suck
meant to write showing the job for what is is good job keep it up.
I hate winter, but I hate mud even more...
We are out Sedgewick, most of our work is around Alliance.
Late breakup and working in ponds goes hand in hand don't they!?
