Make your character however you like. I wanted a beautiful elf for this particular character but I mainly play gruff looking male characters with scars and beards. considering this video shows several different looking characters, I think you need to pipe down 😀

Eldgergleam is a visual overhaul, it doesn't add lots of new content to try. It really depends on what you want from a modlist.

I've had several playthroughs on most modlists I've tried including Nolvus. If you constantly have issues with crashes on a refined modlist it's likely you're breaking scripts by reloading and save scumming too much. Breaking complex scripts running. bad saving habits cause this, saving mid combat, auto saves can bloat your game. creating a new game when you have already booted up another save will also break things. it's the nature of thirdparty scripts In summary 99% of crashes in modlists like Nolvus. LoreRim, Vagabond etc... are user created and not the modlist.

@sunsetatnoon2189 it's a real tricky one for sure. It took me ages to learn what was breaking scripts. The main culprit is the saves tho!

@@RelentlessZen it's my first time modding lol. All I hear it's a real pain in the butt to mod but when I see videos like the preview... I have to try at least. I made my own modlist I'm sure many don't even work or interrupt eachother but it just works. Other question .. all I wanted is to add physics to the cloaks and equipment on top of my graphic and content mods I already installed.. but every time I do something with Sske and animation stuff everything goes to hell. Is there a way to add the cloth and equipment physic swing without Skript extender or is there no other way around ? And is it doable mi-game if not ?

@sunsetatnoon2189 hard requirements are unavoidable unfortunately. I'd highly recommend you try installing a visual only modlist like Eldergleam perhaps.

Seek help on the Nolvus discord. It's hard to really assist you from a YT comment section.

The quality depends on the setting you choose and your resolution. Wasnt an oversight at all. There's clear instructions in PureDarks files. I'm reviewing a modlist not deep diving into tutorials, that's why I kept it as brief as possible. The quality settings are subjective to the user.

@@RelentlessZen You literally mentioned the performance impact and not the visual, wasn't asking for a deep dive but i dont know what else you would call not mentioning the visual impact of an upscaler other then an "Oversight" a simple "it looks great and i cant tell the difference" would suffice, unless the opposite were true of course. Reading my comment above again it does come off a bit rude but that was not my intent, just pointing out critically important information was missing from your video where you spent 30+ seconds talking about frame rate not once mentioning the visual quality or if it was on par with other native DLSS or FSR titles. Anyway your videos are very good thanks.

@Justathought81 you're not causing bother or offence I simply don't know what you expect, DLSS and FSR have different scaling methods. And what works for me visually isnt the same as what works for you. Simply because of different resolutions, monitors, GPUs etc.. but the video is literally 2k the compression doesn't make the crystal clear picture any less crystal clear when it comes to the upscalers. If I did notice a huge difference I would mention it of course.

The backpack is from armors of Velothi 1 or 2 it's already included in nolvus

The armor is Cyrodil thief with another armor set for the shawl, from the Wayfarer mod. Neither are in Nolvus by default. As for the daggers I'm not sure off the top of my head if you just type dagger in additemmenu in game you'll defo find them. I wanna say Assassin's daggers but I could be wrong

You can try if you install windows. But do note that even a pc with a 3080 can struggle to get 60fps. Your experience will be awful

You do, it's just not every hair you need to look for SMP tagged hair in the sliders. Also see Part 3 for the hair mods I added.

Well it's one of the most popular modlists. So a lot of people enjoy it. The beauty of Skyrim modding is: Do what you want. simpley go.play something else 😀

I literally added a Ui mod, wheeler and some hair mods. It's really not changed much. Everything else is altered in game menus of Stock Nolvus.

Yeah, it's really well balanced, early on you will struggle. later on your build gets online but the enemies are still strong
