5:28 That expression shows him realizing and accepting that it's time now. It's time for him to serve his life's purpose and these are his last moments. I also wonder, where would've we all been if not for Yinsen? 15 years of this journey. Starting off with a very basic armor to Nanotechnology. He got lost in the dark at one point. But he eventually found his way back to the light. He was never meant to waste his life. Ending the journey saving billions of lives at the cost of his own. This death was a fictional event but it broke me to pieces for real. Tony Stark will be remembered forever.
He started this journey. Without Yinsen none of this would have happened. Really wish that when Tony snapped his fingers he had a vision of Yinsen. Of him saying "Did you waste it? Did you waste your life?"
Yinsen & Tony are now enjoying their *buddy-time* together in heaven

Yinsen is absolutely one of the biggest heroes of the MCU, he made Iron Man, there's no denying that. Tony became iron man because he wanted nothing other than to protect the world, and yinsen telling him to not waste his life is the very reason why Tony had such a fixation on protecting the world. Tony took Yinsen's last words to heart and honored his last request better than Yinsen could have ever imagined. Incredible
Tony was a spoiled egocentric person. This experience humbled him. He still was a flawed person and didn't many mistakes on his way while trying to be better. Yelzins word formed him. He didn't tell him what to do exactly only to not waste the opportunity. Yelzin saw something in Tony. His potential and his genius. He witnessed his genius and creativity first hand. So he took a bet that Tony through this experience would become a great person who would help the world. And oh boy did this bet went well. I honestly believe in his last moments Tony thought to this exact moment and said to himself I didn't waste it.
