WalkWay Over The Hudson River September 2010
My dad served aboard the Blandy in 1968, and was featured on the yearbook page shown at 1:55 - any chance of getting a better electronic copy of that page?
I hear playing Barney Songs
Directly out of boot camp, I served on that cruise in Deck Div. Upon return to the states I got a special waiver to become a citizen (born in Germany). Got into Navigation school and served the next 3 yrs as a Quartermaster. Great memories. Anyone have a contact to get a copy of this yearbook??
So so so so so cute

Onboard on-duty. Being unmarried I lived aboard. The MAA would just grab you for any old shit job that came along.
I was aboard 1979-1981. I was barely 18. She was my world. A great boat
For an emergency that looks like it takes way to long to untie. So I dont think it works for emergencies. Specially with just 10ft. It should be at least 20ft. But thats just my opinion.
Thanks for the tip to separate the string. I've never had to use mine but now I know the sheath is super strong on it's own and then there's 40ft of strong fibre inside! cheers.
search firearmpop blandy in youtube.
What happened to your narration of this video? Why was it replaced with music, originally I had heard the narration on my Mac,now on my PC I hear a song. Did you change something?
This music was sooo annoying
Stop it with the damn camera shaking you idiot. And another thing, nobody wants to see pics of an albino baby.
I worked with a man (now deceased) who was on the Blandy during the early sixties. He was on board during the Cuban crisis and Thresher ? search. He said the urinals would always fall off when they fired the 5" guns and he had to weld them back on. All aluminum I suppose so shells would pass through. He loved the commander, but said he refused to use a tug coming into port so he was constantly having to repair the screws. I miss ol' Wayne.
Nothing at all, just pulling your leg/joking, not ment ot offend you.

During the part where you asked him if he was enjoying the ferris wheel he said to the computer " say yes Jacob"! Looks like you all had a great time!!

@GOOTENAGEN When aimimng at a target cocking give u better control. When shooting at a BG then it's DA..
man this is really cool
fun fun :)
Don't know although it looks like it.
i kinda agree...i usually carry a S & W 640 centenial or the ruger...the model 10 is sweet....was it a LE issue?
Everyday carry - S&W 637 snubby 38 special and the LCP, Home Defense- Taurus 1911 45ACP Fun Shoot- S&W Model 10 in 38 Special I am partial to collecting revolvers. They just have character, Pull the trigger and they go BANG if it doesn't, pull the trigger again. No Slap Tap and racking...
Nice Collection...what is your favorite everyday carry, home defense, and range fun shooting guns?
good video nice selection
cool thanx great answer
Many semi autos need a couple of hundred rounds before they are "broken in" and perfom well. Thats why I have switched to revolvers. When you pull the trigger they go bang, and if they don't you just pull the trigger again. PERIOD.
yeah thats what i heard its three people counting you, they allsay the same thing. That it doesnt work properly at the beginning and then its a CRACK. I dont know about this gun, would you recommend it?
It did give me some trouble at first. FTF and stove pipes, but after 200 rounds it fires like a champ.. Love the gun. Easy to carry.
