Pieces he pointed and family & friends have loaned them to be on display. This video is how I feel and loved our music connection and relationship through the years.

These 4th & 5th grade students are some of the ones who made it to the end of the year and are so brave to play for the Leeds Ave School 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade classes. We will play our Daily Warm Drills Lines 1&2, and The Negro Spiritual “We Shall Overcome”.

This video continues to give directions on finger dexterity, playing strength and coordination as you press the keys. Go slowly making each finger work. Close your eyes and feel the keys too.

After watching part 1 it’s time to practice and get your fingers working on the keys. Start slowly and make sure you arch your fingers and press each one down with force. Keep your fingers touching the keys.

Focusing on learning which fingers are numbered and where to place them on the piano keyboard. Start by arching the hand so the fingers are curled slightly to press each finger downward on the keys. Right thumb on middle C, left pinky on lower C. Go slowly and feel the keys working under your fingers Bb as you play.
