He’s kind but remember he is also a Perfect God, perfectly Good ,perfectly powerful and patient . It’s his nature that he respect free will and does not forcefully interfere with your free will. He also forgives you. And to say God isn’t kind , you call God who’s all Good ,all perfect and all powerful , evil. But God is also light and life , in his absence , it’s of course death and evilness. But trust me , you faithfully pray to him which is God the Father , God the saviour (Christ) and God the Holy Spirit , he will response . I vouch and testify that .
Here’s the thing g , why don’t he do sth ? He did he washed the earth with flood , he also cast out the devil from heaven . Next thing is he is so perfect ,God is perfect and in all aspects and nature , it is his nature to respect your free will to worship .

You lack the understanding of different concepts in Buddhism. Buddhists don't worship stones just like Muslims don't worship Kaaba. You should understand that the statue of the Buddha is just a means or depiction of meditative state, which reminds us of his wholesome and good qualities. We regard the Buddha as a teacher and not a God or Prophet. Don't be misinformed.

As a Buddhist I can sawer your question the sorrow and misery can be removed by removing desire but some time occasionally you get lust and greedy then you become over and over desire then to remove desire completely you can follow other steps that's why even buddha said desire very hard to remove I'm proud Buddhist I even forgive you and your followers who through mud at Buddhism Buddhism like loutors flowers it can grow at any muddy and boggy environment ❤
