As the jar transforms, it offers challenges to the organisms inside as they deal with a lower oxygen environment and limited resources. This is a great example of how, in the words of Dr. Malcom, "life, uh, uh, finds a way." This seemingly inhospitable water is filled with life! This type of environment (minus the pollution) is important for a variety of creatures, but never at the cost of richer, cleaner, higher oxygen environments. Thanks for watching!
