3D Modeling Wagon From The Image Concept
#3D #modeling #b3d #gameart #wagon
This video i edited from the lessons i gave for one of my student.
We checked Pinterest for an object on what we will learn how to modeling in #blender
After i edited the video i found that i was modelling not from the original concept image but from an already modelled and painted 3d model render :)

    is there a way to render a blender render as a cubemap

  • @TheFerruccio
    @TheFerruccio Před 7 měsíci

    This video is bad practice, but don't worry, here's the correct instructions for free, no need to watch more videos, and no need to use object UV's (after creating the sky in blender): * in camera properties, set the render camera to Type: Panoramic; Panorama Type: Equirectangular. * in "output" set the X resolution to be double that of the Y resolution (I picked 2048 x 1024) The camera will be placed in the middle of the sky/surroundings you wish to record. Press F12 to render. Save the rendered image as a "Radiance HDR" file type. I believe OpenEXR also works, but I've not tried that. Why this video is bad practice: it unnecessarily involves creating UV's for a cube and baking to that cube, and, MORE importantly, it crushes all your high dynamic range colors. This is a sky. Are you telling me that the sun is exactly as bright as white paint? Because that's what saving the image to JPG did. With the way this scene was set up, you're stuck with representing the sky as an sRGB image texture, which is flat and boring.

      Thank you for your comment. First of all. This video for thouse who know what is "Cubemap" and where it will be use next. Can you receive at the end of your Rendering a "Cubemap" or just an panoramic render? Because i know how to render panoramic view and there is no options for a "Cubemap" for Unity - did you watch a video at all? You can bake your texture in 32bit and save it in EXR and HDR format it will save you a high dinamyc range. What complains do you have i don't understand. You watched a video, you don't understand it - skip it. Because at that time i didn't find a quick solution how to make "Cube map" only in the Photoshop by hand sticching a piece of images

  • @blondroid

    I don't understand what happens when you delete the cube at 0:42 and then create a new one. Every time I try this, this part destroys all progress and it is impossible for me to follow this tutorial. I don't understand what each step accomplishes either, and why my image does not appear on the UV map when I try to set it to the cube. I would really appreciate a more clear explanation.

      Hello, same answer as for Thermal. I recorded video without editing with mine mistakes. For rotating i press button "R" in UV viewport and rotate it for "-90"(minus 90) Before baking need to setup Mergin = 0px, and cropping the image in the editor
