I loved my citirox. Had a citi r line 1.8 motor with 276 cam. Was fast. But constant maintenance on certain things and the body and gear linkages and suspension and door handles etc drove me mad and also fighting inevitable rust. But it was my daily. If I could keep a golf as a toy then different story.
I totally understand what you say, I am experiencing the exact same thing. I also drive a VW MK1 and it gets difficult to have it as a daily driver because of the small issues on the car and it definitely gets to you !! But Absolutely great car to have 🙏🏽🔥👊🏼

Why is the engine light on
Because of the modifications done, the light is just an indication that the car is not used to this modification so it needs to be adjusted and a reset is required

This car is absolutely mental 💪🤪 🔥 Yoh 0-100 in 2.7 seconds, I believe this car can run a faster than 10.1 sec on 1/4 mile with Full methanol kit and Semi Slicks, I saw a video of a Stage 2+ tuned Audi S5 (2015) gapping an Audi R8 I think it was tuned by J Tech mods because the video was shot from Killarney
