Hey there! Labbing is great and sharing tech with players is a positive thing, especially against characters like Nier. Unfortunately, the whole premise of this video seems to be incorrect. From what I can see, you did your throw way too late in the lab recording, leading to the gap that allowed you to jump out. From my attempts, I was able to make the gap into RS only 6 frames (potentially less if you can time it manually without the throw) so you will either get hit in your jump startup or be hit airborne by the RS. In a situation like the one in the tourney, that setup is almost completely unpunishable if it isn't mistimed, since Lucilius does not have 50 meter for DP and his fastest button in that range is 6f (RS wins on same frame). He has no reactionary option to punish her in this situation, his only fool-proof option is to simply to dodge the RS and block, meaning you're even on BP if you then brave counter out. He can potentially punish her for this setup with a BC while blocking 236B: a very early BC can punish them if they just autopilot into the throw, but if you can learn to do this without the throw frame kill, then this just becomes a regular BC rps situation with Nier, where she can make you waste it or potentially punish you. He also has the option of a later BC, which hits the doll and then allows you to dodge the RS for a punish, but this is also a guess rather than a reaction, since she isn't forced to do anything. If you have a reversal then your options are a little bit better. You can try and reversal the RS on reaction if you're in range, or dodge and then DP after. If she autopilots her special cancel into 214 very early, then you can react to it and punish her with a wakeup reversal, but at this oki range most characters will need SBA/SSBA to reach her, and if she delays the 214 until late into the 236B startup, then it is much less reactable, and now you're basically gambling on wakeup super. So all in all, I would say that this setup is very real, since it just becomes an extra layer of her offense rather than an isolated setup, you still have to consider all of her other offensive options here on top of the much safer than normal RS. While I'm sure it wasn't your intention, I think the video title and content are misleading. It's important to double and triple check this stuff when you're making informative content for other people, to avoid giving misinformation to players who are looking for solutions. Naturally, if I've made any mistakes myself, please feel free to point them out, I may have missed something as well.

You didn't react to the RS, you are in training and KNOW the RS is coming up and preempted the jump. If Nier does any other option than RS you get anti-aired. if you delay the jump 15-20 frames to simulate ACTUAL human reactions in a match, you get hit in the air by RS and launched into a combo. RPS here is so stupidly favored for Nier, this is not counterplay.

Look at that, a counterplay that isn't a real counterplay because it isn't possible on reaction and gets you hard punished if you guess wrong!

The team fortress 2 community is just garbage! since I have a very bad experience with the community from someone like me has play on different community servers. That were known for having people that were taking the game too seriously and even the times I got harassed by many of them aka anime haters before that were calling Me a weeb that I always will know those anime haters only say that word all because of filthy frank that I always start to see how he made the anime hatedom to be so toxic. With that word even when he defines that word by showing the definition of that word but yet that didn't even work on them since many of those people just use that word wrong by using it as an insult on to innocent people in the anime fandom which it sure is the reason why I hate anime haters and the anime hatedom too since it can be known. For having anime haters that will think anyone in the anime fandom is a weeb/weeaboo when not anyone is one! which it makes me feel so sad for those normal anime fans That can't even have an opinion on their likes to anime without having to get harassed by a toxic anime hater which it just makes me hate them so much that they think. It is okay to harass innocent people in the anime fandom by calling them weebs as an insult well I do understand not all of them are like that since I can understand there Can be some anime haters that can be respectful towards some anime fans that they like anime and would know not all of them are weebs/weeaboo but it's pretty much. Good job on the video. The negative comments you're getting are from people who do not want to learn what this means for their own characters. This is a solution to autopilot DP and a way to give you layer 1 of beating her dp. This forces nier to adapt at the very least.
