16:35 The reason you can´t see the trim indication is that it´s just not working. It´s a know bug from the beginning, that was forwarded to @SimSolutionsFS on different platforms many times and for ages in the meantime. But, well, although there have been some updates, even 10 months(!) after release this (big!)one still hasn´t been fixed. That´s disappointing, because it would render the aircraft to be grounded in reality. Being able to see the current trim setting is absolutely essential, because not seeing it can potentially lead to fatal accidents. So a hard review would be: This aircraft is not airworthy in it´s current state.

The J-3 has the perfect stall indicator in the lower door. The door will begin gently luffing just before the stall, providing the perfect indicator during the flair. I really miss this feature in the cub sims I have flown, where the lower door stays firmly glued in place when flaring for landing.

The awful Rotax sound is very realistic. Generally the sounds are great and spot on.

With over 150 hours in the DA20, I really hope it brought the feel that the real thing does to myself. One thing to note is that all Diamond aircraft, especially the DA20 and DA40 have their nose gears of centered due to the molding construction of the airframes. Basically, two molds are made for the fuselage. One for the right side, and one for the left side. They are then glued together into one fuselage piece. Hence, the reason for the off centered gear. It makes for a weak spot in the mold if it is dead center. Fun fact, there is actually a video showing all of this, and to say the least, the DA20 is meant for entry level training and really is a start and go kind of plane for this purpose. Another funny bit of the DA20 is that it is built off of the Diamond (Formerly Dimona Glider) and really just has an engine on the glider (hence the glider like long wings). Anyways, thanks for reviewing our product, and your considerations have been noted!

Thanks for the video Crafty, I love the R22 as well and I keep coming back to it because it is a great representation of the true experience. What it lacks in raw power and speed it makes up for in the sheer enjoyment and I keep coming back for more ... any spare moment, any 'free styling' time, and when checking out some new scenery I scroll through my hangar and invariably end up selecting the R22. I also find that after a hour or so in the R22 and I hop in one of the other Cowansim choppers (H125 / M500E) they seem a bit more forgiving and easy to keep steady / hover. This is probably because I have my eye in flying the R22, where my immediate muscle memory is around small movements.

How good is the actual BlackBird Cessna 310 2..0.4? Is it at the level of BlackSquare Piston Duke or Cessna 414?

A guy near me flies one of these to work. Always get a nice view when he comes overhead the house.

Another good review, 👍🏽given! I understand that the developer wants to render the interior as accurately as possible but I wouldn't complain at all if they decided to downsize/scale-down that massive "A" pillar across your view.

Nice review, really enjoyed your off-script style. Sub'd and liked. I downloaded this a day ago. Not a bad add-on to the sim. Sounds are not bad, (engine sounds could be improved) I'm not fond of how when in external view the pilot and copilot appeared grayed out when viewed from in front, but those are my only gripes which is awesome due to the fact that *IT IS FREE!*

I've been waiting for a Cessna 206 and this looks very nice. Hopefully they'll add floats so I can do some Lake Hood loitering.

There's something wrong with the autopilot on mine. Always shoots straight past the target altitude and just keeps climbing.

In the real aircraft wiew is not that bad as all simmer say. Expecially when you fly a circuit in a busy airport the side upperside wiew is very good. Much better then a Cirrus SR22 not to mention a Piper that is really claustrophobic (glider pilot here! 😉). A plus for me are also nice real life livery and the good price. Much better than many other addons in this price class.

Try Flight Replicas Spitfire Mk.1a, much better modeled and textured, and flies better.

This is nice but has a few bugs, mixture control being one. I have the logitech throttle quadrant and same issue.

A good presentation of an iconic aircraft that I want badly. But I need it to be available on the Market Place ? I have trouble downloading from other sources. Do we know when the Hurricane will be available from the MSFS Market Place ?

I always preferred the Hurricane over the Spit. I Can't wait for their Lancaster, it looks gorgeous on their website.

We do aim for true authenticity - while not perfect, we really enjoyed bringing the Rolls-Royce "Merlin" to the AH Hurricane and their future Spitfire variants. The interior sounds will get a small "buff" and slightly change the hum/roar so you can "feel" the engine even more than before. Do check out the first update once it drops. :) Also; we did do sounds on the CH-47 by Miltech, F-86 Sabre by Shrike, and many more!

A really good presentation, I like the PA 38 and fly in VR. Still having teething problems with system crashes, using a Quest 3. Bu getting there. I am squirt happy with MSFS as it is, so not bothered 're MSFS 2024.

Still one of my favourites. But lately I've become fascinated by one of the Devs other planes - the Beaver. Just like the 310R you can see the love they've put into it. Thanks for the video.

The 310R is my 2nd favorite plane in the Sim. I prefer it over the 414A. But at the moment, I too am enjoying the DA-42 and will fly her for awhile longer before switching back. That was a very smooth landing for this plane.

Had a week at Waddington in the 80s with Air cadets, nice series of videos, am sold
