This channel is all about the stuff I like to do, Projects in the garage, my 68 torino which was my first ever car . I have owned it since I was 16. Few car guys hang on to their first hot rod . Guess I am kind of a sentimental guy. Even my 64 Fairlane has been with me since I was 18. Even the 56 ford tractor has sentimental value to me. It was passed to me when my father passed away in 2011. Whenever I get on that old tractor it still feels like he is with me. I guess in way he is, and that's kind of cool. I plan to do some bracket racing videos whenever I get back to racing.
My biggest achievement in life so far, has been winning the track championship in 2009 at Ohio Valley drag way here in Louisville KY, and presenting my home track at the race of champions at Indy. Man I will tell you what that was an incredible feeling . I want to do it again.

Finally got some decent weather for racing. But it was a short night. 2nd round red light. The track had been under water for 2 weeks, and the night before they had a no prep race so the track was not hooking good.

Hey! Great video. Just changes the fluids in my 641 Workmaster. Same fill, check and drain areas. I did notice, you don’t have an air cleaner/oil bath. You really don’t want trash to gum up the carb and mess up the engine, especially when you’re bush hogging. Great video!
connected done my friend
does cutting down your pressure plate cause them to be weaker and warpage ?
What grit is that little sanding drum? Thank you for the video!
BEAUTIFUL DOG Bro! 😊
Thanks. She my little buddy. Almost 4 years old now.
Been a while in need of that link if still possible
I always enjoy seeing you make a pass in the Fairlane. That's a fantastic car, and even more impressive since you don't have a bundh of sponsors. Hats off to you for doing it yourself, and doing it so very well. All the best to you.
Thanks! 👍
Better days ahead!
Excellent.
Thanks for watching.
For future reference to those who have to do this in the future, most auto part stores sell sets of "stubby" open/boxed end wrenches that come in hand for these types of jobs where longer wrenches just don't work.. I bought a set of these from O'Reilly auto parts years ago and they've come in handy many times. I did this recently with my 601 Workmaster.
Thank you sir! Answered all my questions
Thanks for watching.
Thank you very much! You helped me with my problem! Exactly what I needed! God bless you Señor my name is Fernando Herrera! 🙏🏼
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching.
Hey there mark its Troy from the track with the dark blue 67 mustang 4speed. It's good to see you dude just came across your video on CZcams. Hope your doing good hopefully I wii see you at the track this year I'm pretty sure I'm going to be getting my car back out later this year.
That's awesome .
I recently changed to a 15/40 diesel oil on a warmed up 521. I was having oil starvation issues with my front sump Lincoln MkV application. Pulled the engine and changed to a baffled pan (6 qt) and dual stage M48 B pump. My .010 under crank and rod bearings were scored to a degree, but not enough In my opinion to change out since it was actually impossible to find replacements. Put it back together, and back in the car. My oil pressure after the change is 75 cold, and 30 psi hot idle with 5/30. And no starvation under WOT. Changed the 5/30 out the other day and went with 15/40, and have seen better numbers by 5 psi. Prolly not ideal, but good enough psi for a street sleeper?
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing, can see you know your job very well. I rebuilt a few Toploaders, but today start to work on a Ford C6. Bought a Pionneer kit 753010. I found in the drums 2 times 3 friction disks, in the kit I have 5 disks same colours, and 5 more yellow friction ones. I saw in your video you have a few disks the same, and you had 2 red ones. What are those different colours disks ?
Well, I found out, I probably forgot to open my eyes while opening the 2 drums. First I have 3 friction disks space, then, I saw where they go, first drum, where the band goes, are the heavy friction disks, then the second drum the low friction ones (yellow). Anyway, your videos are really great and helpfull, many thanks.
Sounds like the sensor is faulty. Absolute rubbish.
I just bought a Ryobi inflator, because I have a lot of their tools and batteries. They work for me, and don't give me problems. The only thing I don't like about it is that it goes only in 5-pound increments. But it's dead simple to operate, and I expect to have it for a long time. I hope this Summit one does what you want it to do for years to come. All the best to you, and Happy Easter.
Thanks for watching.
Very cool gadget 👍🏻
Thanks for watching.
Great to know thanks! What front suspension kit are you running? Thanks for the videos.
Not a suspension kit. I fabricated the front clip, with stock Mustang 2 control arms mounted on it. Also made my own stabilizer links. I did that 24 years ago.The brake kit is a light weight kit that fits pinto/mustang 2 spindles. I would like to change to tubular arms and control arm someday. Thanks for watching.
car sounds good! do you run any extensions off the headers?
No extensions. Thanks for watching.
Luv your dog. I know you lost one and so did I 2 years ago. She was my friend for 14 years. I still have moments where I think she should be in a certain spot. I guess for you, it will be good to get out and make that first pass this year.
Sorry for the loss. I still miss Angel and think about her often. When I lose a dog, my mind isn't right till I get another one. Thanks for watching.
Are you running a john kaase oil pump
Stock melling.

Love them 64 Fairlanes. Thanks for watching.
BBF always good to hear. What size carburetor on the T-Bolt?
1050 Dominator.
I have one similar to that, good little saws👍🏻
Yes they are!

😮 your knowledge on the subject is amazing to me. Thanks for sharing and helping me better understand.
You are so welcome!
What did the engine dyno at??
I don't do dyno's. This is a street engine which means it will do an occasional burnout in a remote area. Or just cruising through a car show. No need to dyno that. My 64 Fairlane gets tested and tuned at a drag strip.
I been folowing you for awhile... im fixing to start my 64 build.... running 10.5 tire and 10inch rim.. how does your car hook up with ladder bars???
My best 60 foot time is 1.34. On a foot brake.
Wow, 11 years ago. I guess I’m late to the party but if you’re still hanging around I’m curious about the heat now that there’s no shield on there. Did you run into any issues with that or did you do something about it? Because wrapping it after it’s installed seems almost impossible but it’s the only way to do it since it’s a two piece and the back of the be trans and the front of the floorboard are both really bad places to transfer as much radiant heat into as that exhaust must make. If anyone has done it any input would be much appreciated thanks. Side note: I know this job has long since passed but for future reference in case you need it I always use bbq paint on my exhaust and other things in my engine bay because it’s a lot cheaper and a little more durable than the automotive stuff. They can withstand more heat and the adhesive hardeners are grease and oil resistant.
Sorry for the late response. No heat issues. I use this truck to pull my 28 ft enclosed trailer through the summer months almost every weekend and it does the job just fine. Back when it had the stock down pipe and exhaust the floor would get warm with the heat shield in place. I guess less back pressure makes less heat .
Thanks for the review. I replaced the transmission on 2006 Civic Si with the Harborfreight 450lbs trans jack. This would have made it a lot easier.
Mine won't start on Auto with new battery on it but it will start on Pull start, no problem. You know what's wrong with it? Thanks.
Sounds Good. Nice car. I'm guessing racing and the "64 is done for the year?
Yes they end bracket racing in November here locally. Which doesn't bother me , it gives me time to enjoy other projects. Some drag racers seem to like drag cars only.I like having a variety of different projects going on. Which is why I am not at the track every time the gates open like I did when I was younger.
Sounds a lot better. That area above where the exhaust dumped before was a drone machine. Now with it exiting out the back, should be perfect. Beautiful Torino..not many left these days.
Thanks
What's with the drilled holes in the direct drum? I haven't seen that mod anywhere else? band cooling?
That serves two purposes. It gives the band more lubrication, and it gives the fluid somewhere to escape when the clutches in the direct drum are applied by the piston. Which is supposed to help make the transmission shift faster, and firmer.
@@Dragracer64 Thanks for the feedback. Just found Frank Merkl's video on the holes and their location as well.
are those the 10 piece headers .. i had a 429 in my 69 stang and the headers were a monster .
Yes they are. They are hookers made for 71 Mustang and Torino. I had to modify some of the tubes to fit my 68.
Sounds damn good 👍🏾
Nicest Torino i've seen in a while .
Thanks .
I think you have an Inverter Issue...!!!
Actually it ended up being the harness plug that goes from inverter to echo throttle motor. 34 dollar harness fixed it after all that.
shes so beautiful. keep those pipes open brother
Thanks for watching.
The whole house shakes😂😂😂 made us move the garage away from the house 😂😂😂

Is this a 429SCJ??? Not in the Description
429 PI out of a 72 police car. It is 4 bolt main but came with PI heads when I bought the engine. It currently has aluminum pro comp heads. Not the best heads I know but the price was right and I had them. They were new and ready to bolt on. If you look through my videos I recently rebuilt this engine and show footage of the engine disassembled. Thanks for watching.

More horsepower with carburetor
My favorite car!😊
Thanks for watching.
I had these on a mild 500 HP Chrysler 440 and they really killed the power down and eventually split on the seams so I took them off and went with some welded 2 chamber Flow masters in a 3 inch and problem solved . They aren't terrible loud when ideling and regular driving but once you get on it hard then they roar and sound so much better than glass packs or turbo mufflers.
I had some flow masters on it at one time they were supposed to be the quietest ones they made. They sounded good at idle, but were loud when I got on it. They rusted out on me pretty fast. Thanks for the info, and for watching.
Fully understand. A lot of demonetizations going on here. Some Subscriptions losing 10K - 20K they thought was already in the bank. That's what I heard here on the Tube last night. A letter sent to them after the fact.... ??
I wasn't making near that much, but what little I was making, I experienced a 75 % drop in revenue. While gaining subscribers and views.
@@Dragracer64 Do you think CZcams has lost any advertisers do to them loosening their speech policy a little. Even what women are showing now (I'm not a prude) but totally different. Maybe that is raining down on channel providers. Or is it they just suck.
Hate it’s not paying off for you, really enjoy your content
Thanks for watching. I will still make videos just not as many longer ones like I used to.
Great video. A lot of hands on experience is so appreciated. Could not find another person showing the reassembly of starter/rewind. Thanks!
That 'eco throttle solenoid' is actually a small stepper motor which the computer (in the inverter) uses to set the throttle appropriate to the load. The computer is also smart (unlike the Chinese generators), and it knows how to flutter the throttle butterfly when it is cold and the motor has trouble staying on in eco mode.
I know your video is Old but thank you for actually pointing out the fill ports on tractor! Ive been looking all over CZcams and web and no other video Ive seen showed where they was! I just acquired a 801 powermaster myself and this really helps alot
Glad I could help!
