my granddad who left us not so long ago [15 days ago] we were never really the closest he was a very strict person throughout his entire life even tho he loved living life like everyone of us he had some PHDs and had a government job as per i know he worked very very hard for everything we have today our home our reputation everything. he used to hide his enthusiasm towards music, only some years back i got to know that he loved singing and i was clearly very shocked because he never really showed it off and used to scold us for playing songs out loud. he suffered last 10 years of his life being bedridden and even his last nurse treated him like he worth nothing i hated seeing him like that :( but i had no voice nor was i allowed to give my opinion when it came to him, he used to get very overwhelmed and used to cry alot when we used to celebrate his anniversary or my grannies bdays even tho he wasnt the bestest grandparent i do miss him alot as now i only have like one grandparent left, it sinks my heart tbh the only memories i remember i had with him was when i was a 6-7 yr old, he lived so long but those are the only moments i remember i tbh dont know much about him but he loved kishore kumar [got to know this the day he died] rest well dadda we miss you everyday </3

Indeed, my father suffered for years from a disease that lasted for more than seventeen years, and in the last years of his life he no longer remembered who I was except that I was his son and the rest of my brothers as well, but he did not know what our names were, and how much I wished that he would call me by my name, and he died in the same condition. There was no one left to remember except us. We are his children. How much I loved and adored him, and how much I wished he would remember me, remember my name and the days I lived with him.

this story very relatable recently I lost my grandfather also we share very nice bond at last he could not Rember my name. I miss him so much started drawing because just like that boy thanks to this beautiful story I can Recall all the sweetest memories with him.

My grandfather passed away year ago, he was fit and fine at the age of 91, he just couldn't hear anything, was deaf (not by birth) he loved me alot among us all siblings. Some of his last days in this world was the toughest, he couldn't recognise anyone not even my grandmother but me, I was blessed and on his last day, I was unknown for him too. I've been through this.. I cried a lot while watching this.... I was his favourite and those last days.. I feed him by my hands, I did everything I could may he rest in peace 🥹🙂
