IONOS is TERRIBLE. I had a simple html site of my house remodel and they kept charging me for "out-of-date" PHP support. I would log into my account and click update PHP and get confirmation that it had updated and I would still be invoiced for the out-of-date PHP. Got tired of fighting with them about it. Moved my hosting and recommend you RUN away from IONOS - don't even consider them.
Cannot get links to work in preview, build or publish mode. Oh dear.

Not sure what you mean exactly. U mean ionos taking your pictures? I am not entirely sure but I believe they can’t Or shouldn’t at the least.
How do you create a drop down?
please I am in a problem with the iONOS the issue is that I am creating a website for a friend so when I design to change the template because the logo cannot be moved to the left side and the header, then I was unable to manage my website again so I don't know what could be the reason behind this. Please I need help on this asap. @everyone

Which monthly e-commerce plan did you select? Can you browse Templates before you pay?
Well it depends how much you plan on selling. You can always upgrade but downgrade can cause problems if you are using a feature that isn’t included and you may not necessarily need.

U can but a laptop is best. Even a tablet in some cases. Depends on where u use

This company is a complete scam. After written agreement that my subscription had been cancelled, they still took money from my account. They cannot be trusted and should be avoided at all costs.

IONOS THEY ARE THEIF , THEY STOLEN OUR MONEY FROM OUR DEBIT CARD. SINCE 1 YEAR AGO I DEACTIVATE THE IONOS SUBSCRIPTION YESTERDAY THEY CHARGE AGAIN. THEY HOLD OUR DEBIT CARD INFORMATION PERMANENTLY IN THEIR SYSTEM. NO ONE SHOULD BUY FROM THEM DOMAIN, HOSTING OR ANY SERVICE.

How do you add pages? I can't figure out how to add like a scrolling/ slideshow option for my pages.

check all backgrounds on Aaall levels. remember it is a layered site so it may be one of the lower ones :) if that makes sensee

Thanks for the video. I need to upgrade to My Website Creator L because 1n1 will not support the website basic anymore. I was going to pay to have IONOS Web Design to create it for me but I may tackle it myself and save money after viewing your video. Hope their are other videos...
That's awesome that's why I did it! I just upgraded to the new one as well. I am working on it still. The whole point of the my website is for people to be able to control it themselves and manage it without having to pass the reins to someone else. It's your vision. Don't buy any services from 1&1 ionos they are fake it looks economical from out but they have contract and they make you confirm them unknowingly. And you fall in their trap. Now they have my cards details and they send me blackmail emails that i own them some money. If i don't pay they will end my services. Plz plz don't buy from them.
I understand completely what you're talking about because I do think that the billing needs some work. Now what you're talking about is the promotional month or year or whatever the case may be. In that situation you really should have paid attention to when it was going to change pricing. When it comes to anything that comes up that you may not have known about let's say you didn't get the emails about it, they do refund it pretty easily so I just recommend calling them and talking to them. They will end your services if you don't pay but if you talk to them they will definitely work with you. Call the retention office 888-258-5616 during the week until 8:00 p.m. eastern time. Otherwise I'll be directed to a different country. It's all your preference. If you need help let me know because I still know people that would be able to help, I don't need to feel like you got scammed. And I don't work for them anymore but I still respect the business and I would help you if I can
How many elements, templates, and sections does this application give us to work with?
Enough .. trust me ... Go on to the website and go to website builder and templates. Make sure you get the right one. Don't have them make it for you bc I think it's a waste and some have extras like popups which are neat for when a visitor first comes or repeating visitors.. there is almost every widget bc what they don't have, they have html for
Oh and infinite page amount and you can set a page url for each one. So if you do it right you can have multiple businesses on one .. you can password protect any pages too
how do you check website analytics? I just looked online and couldn't find anything?
That is on the account page. When you log in and go to websites you will see it on that page

Depends what your looking to do. They are plugins but updated frequently u don't need to worry bout that. Then there is HTML code if needed to.

I don't work for them anymore, I did this because they didn't have anything up and I know the people I helped in retention needed it. I know the products well and can do a lot or at least find out for you. Feel free to email me questions and I can find out. I need to know what your working with. Is it the website creator or are you using wordpress? Simple answer is if it is my website creator there is a widget for HTML which you would add any code though that. A question regarding the scrolling background you mention (the picture of the dogs in the lower part of the page) - how do you make sure this picture is scrolled? It scrolls slower than the information on top, which looks really nice. Would be happy to insert the same effect on my page. Thanks again!

Yes at the top you see the phone icon next to the tablet and computer on the top line. U will see how it looks on each one. Anything you want on one and not the other you would "hide from" and don't delete
