Most will say yes because of their personal preference. This is understandable, but when you look at what you get for the price, regardless if you like EV's or not it definitely seems a big underrated for what you get! What are your thoughts?

You are saying silly things in this podcast. First of all. Nsx is a Unicorn, secondly it is the first aluminum sportscars ever with F1 tech in it. Thirdly it is by no means a slow car. only you think of fastness in a straight line, typical american bs. Bring it on a canyon road or a medium sized track. You will beat the shit of even much newer Porsches and Ferraris. I've done it many many times. It is the best drivers car out there hands down. I have an NA1 with a TypeR suspension and some other goodies on the car. It is a headturner, a neck braker and a big time JDM legend. Th coolness of this car is epic. Everyone loves it unlike a Ferrari which is a piece of junk if you put the two cars near each other in real life. Lambos are also a piece of trash with many problems. You cannot compare apples to grapes. Dont make stupid opinions on a car you never have driven or owned. Thanks.

what’s a good price to buy one for with like 100k miles? around 20k?
I hope someone comments and answers! I’m curious to hear opinions. I think it depends on what state you’re in and the condition of the car. I’m in hawaii so we’re limited on what’s available. I’ve seen 100k around 22-30k but I’m sure it’s cheaper on the mainland where there’s so many more options. I’ve noticed the convertible is way cheaper here… nobody wants those here. Too hot. What state are you from?

I considered those other cars… and bought the S2000 and love it. E46 has rod bearing issues. The boxster has cylinder scoring and IMS issues and doesn’t look as good as an S2000. All are great cars though.

@@theRated I would say 35-40k. I’m actually looking at one with 69k miles 2013 DCT on Friday after the inspection and owner is willing To give away for 30k. Needs rod bearings though and not sure what else until inspection.

@@darkdawn4363 I honestly think it’s just the nature of the market. All cars go thru the phase where no one cares about them anymore and then all of a sudden “boom” it’s in demand again… similar to what happened to the 240sx, e36 and e46 M3’s, s2000 and just about every other car. Right now there’s still so many 350z’s available BUT when you look deeper there aren’t too many low mileage examples. I think in a few years it’ll boom and everyone will be like “shux I should have picked one up for cheap because now they’re expensive”… just my opinion though.

Is a 2001 with 47k miles worth 30,000?
Everyone has their own opinion but I honestly think with that low miles 30k is good to go. I’ve seen ones with 50k miles that go as low as 25k but I also see ones with 50k that go for 35k… exterior color and conditon, interior color and condition etc… are usually the reasons for the price variance IMO.
The fact you can get a gt86, frs or brz makes the s2000 not as big of a desire.

Talking about the S2000 we shouldn’t talk about the price driving it experiencing it owning it and you will enjoy every bit of it that’s the difference to any other cars and it’s nothing like it! Is pure drivers pleasure!

I love my s2000, but I don’t think it’s a very good car for the past few years market…. Kinda like 993 Porsches, so awesome when they were reasonably priced. But absolutely not ever paying or think it’s cool for people to pay 100k for them
