Before moving the stockyard from Cincinnati to Chicago, 2 signs said "Welcome to our county", and "The Pork Capital of the USA". At one time there were more pigs than people in our county in SW Ohio. My mother grew up on a farm. They brought a young pig in the house one winter. It slept behind the couch and she considered it a pet. Next year after they slaughtered it, my mother couldn't eat pork for quite a while.

When? I was a boy. My grandfather had 200 head of pigs on one side of his house and 200 more on the other we had 1 sow named Gerty. I can tell you something about hogs. They're cool until you miss for their babies, you would be amazed at how fast 800 pounds can get after you?

i used to eat chickens😢but am i vegan i never 😢will ever Eat chickens or lamb ever again Because its animal cruelty it's horrible I always eat planet based foods it's wrong to eat meat because animals like farm animals are living creatures thay want to live the pain and torture 😢 they suffer guest for us we are monsters . i loved the video i am crying because seeing rescued chickens I feel so bad because i used to eat chicken and so ashamed am so happy now am vegan now.

Those are leghorn hens too. I used to have a couple white leghorns and they're some of the smartest, expressive chickens ever. Full of sass too
