CZcams just recommended your channel to me... I really like the subtle transition of green between the whet field and the train track. I've been collecting tan 4L bars and tan technic axle/pins, from Bricklink orders for months now, to make a similar field and I just got up to 1000 of them, so your vid has inspired me to actually make it !

Are you including any movie and pip culture references into the city? If so, by the farm house a crashed alien pod or a shed with an alien pod inside would be a cool reference to Superman.

It always amazes me at how many bricks it takes to build a city. I just subscribed as I enjoy watching cities develop. What is the name of your city? It looks great. My favourite part is your treed boulevard.

The SW tiles you could use a plate to put them both together on black plate, in a like sign for one of windows of cinema would probably look cool, like one toward top n bottom corner stepped, as if theatre is having a SW day

it does look like a effective method to sort and store lego pieces. I have a coworker who I think uses that method as well. its effective. I use this method a little like for lego minifigs stands.

I swear I owned one of these like 10 years ago, I also had a little car track thing that was built in a similar style

we used to have this when i was younger but we never actually played the game, just used the pieces in our own builds lmao. (me and my brother used fo fight over who got to use the golden cup)

I alwasy like going through my bricks and Minifigure bulk table more then once i have found a rare parts that paid for most of my bag of parts when sold on Bricklink. I like how not all the good stuff is sorted out.

I have one of the Alex drawers but it drives me mad at times because the drawers don't pull out the full way. I use small containers in the drawers for the smaller pieces and use cheap Tesco containers with lids for bigger pieces which stack quite well on top of the drawers. I did use the bags at one time but prefer the containers now 😊

If you can I suggest getting the storage bags, not the sandwich bags. The storage bags are a bit thicker and less likely to get holes in them from the sharp corners. I store my stuff the same way. I prefer the Sterilite storage bins though. For me they stack well, are a good size for my varied collection and are relatively affordable.

It would be cool if you added a forest to your lego city.

I do the same… including using snack size bags when I have less pieces.

There are two more Bricks and Minifigs in the Milwaukee area. North Shore MKE (Fox Point) and Brookfield. I love that there's always something new every time you visit and while I've seen some horror stories when it comes to pricing I haven't seen any glaring issues at my local ones. Especially when there is no shipping cost to worry about and you know 100% what you're getting, no fake sellers or misrepresented sets

I’ve been shopping at used LEGO stores (independent or Bricks & Minifigs) for about 7 years. I live in Florida and there has been an explosion of used LEGO stores here, currently there are 7 B&M stores in the state with 2 more on the way and 6 independent stores {including the new Orlando Brick Co. (an affiliate of Atlanta Brick Co.)}. The best deal is the bulk parts and the build-a-fig bins. I almost never buy sets or Minifigs from the cases there. I collect vintage sets and I have found many expensive and rare parts in their bulk bins and build-a-fig bins, it’s like treasure hunting, I call it “the hobby within the hobby.” And if you get to know the own/manager of the store well they’ll keep an eye out for things you are interested in and usually give you a better deal than a regular customer. I recently bought $75 worth of bulk at a B&M store and it ended up being 1883 pieces (mostly 1x4 bricks) which worked out to be 3.9¢ per piece. It really is the best way to buy parts, even better than Bricklink. AND it’s always changing because people are constantly bringing in their old LEGO to get rid of it. 🙂

Reddish brown looks awesome and the old metal bridge design fits the nature around really well. Even regular red for the bridge would be good looking:).

the train bridge is looking good! I have an idea, you could put a fence/ wall in between the tracks and the field to prevent any debris or gravel from the train passing getting in field.

Such a short height difference won’t be an issue for the orient express ??
