I was going to order a 878 from BridgeCom until I saw this video but not now.
I've had my AT-D878UVII Plus for just over 6 months now and finally got it to work on 1 repeater. At least we're making headway. We've even downloaded directly from a working rafio and it still doesn't work. While we are working with it I ordered a TYT MD-UV380 radio to use while we get the 878 up and running. It took about 45 minutes total to get on the air with the TYT. I'm not giving up.

I’ll tell you what I got was lots of problems just my SkyBridge and my 578 back to BridgeCom so they can fix whatever is wrong with it. Every time I turn my 578 off and back on the settings change, the date goes to the year 2070, among other things that change.

What is the primary purpose of this type of program? I just ended up here by decision of the CZcams algorithm. Thanks for any reply. Edit: Looking at the other shorts posted, this seems related to ham radio operations, which I know next to nothing about.

Good video, I have tried to scan a zone in one sub ch, in the meantime I have the other vfo fixed in one freq. If I scan when change to vfo A it stops, so I couldn't do this, is there a Way to use the vfo A and take advantage of the vfoB to scan? I have the 578 uv III plus. In the ft 8800 i can do it easily, Saludos XE2GRC

When I transmit my hotspot doesn't acknowledge it. Why is nothing showing up in the RF section for me? Frequencies are checked good along with timeslot and color.

all 3 of my 878UV anytones have started an alarm, it just says ALARMING on the screen. I can't turn it off and it is about to drive me nuts. NO IT ISN'T A MAN DOWN ALARM AND IT ISN'T A WEATHER ALARM. I don't want any alarms, I don't need a radio to take charge and give me a useless alarm. How do I turn it OFF please. I hit the P3 button in all kinds of ways and it will not turn it off for more than about 8 minutes.

Very helpful Ron thank you it has taken the mystery away from DMR and my AnyTone 878 I didn't realise how easy it was to create a codeplug I'm sure I will get more out of this now

DMR is difficult to get working on a Jumbo Spot, Plus very few repeaters here in KC. This guy seems nice and knows what he is doing, but a little scattered. That makes it difficult to follow. I can't figure out how to setup talk groups on Brandmeister.

I want to know if I get a DMR Radio can I use my cell phone Hot Spot for the Radio I have a DMR 🆔 but don't have a Radio yet. 73 K4BWN
You can use your cell phone to function as a WiFi hotspot. Then, the Skybridge would connect your cell phone's WiFi access point. Once that's done, you can use your DMR radio to communicate with Hams all over the world.

Did not work that way for me. I have spent hours trying to get it to connect to home wifi. I folle all the directions and started over still no connection to home wifi.

I remember when hamsphere was first put out there and I joined it and played around with it for a little bit but I quickly got bored of it because there weren't a lot of people on it and there are better ways to do voice chatting over the internet

When you enable the repeater function on the 144.3 MHz, does it tell it to transmit on the VFO B? how exactly does this work? Do I have to enable repeater on the RX frequency for the repeater (TX of the handheld)?

I can not set up Full power in Repeater mode.Max possible to H, it is 25 wats.Even set up to Turbo T it remain to H power.Strange.
