I want to give a big shout out to the amazing Ray Bonneville, who is the harp-playing "alter ego" in the video. Also, I couldn't have made this without the amazing train footage shot by music (and train) fan Joe Ray Skrha! Directed b...

I heard this song on KPFT not long after it was recorded. Over the past two decades, I find few songs that resonate so well and so completely with my feelings of being a singer/songwriter in a world that provides such a "plastic" audience with algorithmic gatekeepers and limited opportunities to achieve the true intended goals of my unique talent. Ms.Gilkyson's beautiful ballad here is one that stands the test of time for me. It is haunting, beautiful, reflective, and a constant reminder for me that other beautiful souls have traversed a long and sad road ... and that truly the gift of it all is in the creation of a work that is remarkably beautiful. I feel like I know you, Eliza. <3
